With both teams in fantastic form coming into the night, the game shaped up to be a high quality Bundesliga clash from the off. Dortmund will be bitterly disappointed to see their three game winning streak come to an end to a team beneath them in the table. However, their recent vein of form ensured Die Schwarzgelben remain in the hunt for the Bundesliga title, now only three points off the top after 15 games, although that gap could extend if results elsewhere go against them.
