The Champions League quarter-finals are over, and the eight matches across the two weeks produced not only some epic drama but also some stunning individual displays as Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG became the last four standing.

Using Flashscore's own internal ratings system, and picking from players who played a minimum of 60 minutes across their side's two legs, this is the team of the round.

Goalkeeper

Juan Musso (Atletico Madrid) 8.5

The Argentine goalkeeper pulled down the shutters in the opening quarter-final against Barcelona, stopping all seven shots he faced. He then made the same number of successful saves in the second leg, being flawless after conceding two early goals.

Musso was preferred to Oblak even when the first-choice goalkeeper returned from injury for the return game, and made it clear that Diego Simeone made the right decision.

Defence

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Real Madrid) 7.2

The English full-back was among the top three defenders of the quarter-finals thanks to his performance in Real Madrid's first leg with Bayern, in which he set up Kylian Mbappe's goal beautifully and won three of the four duels.

His rating is brought down by the clash in Munich, which saw Los Blancos concede three goals and get knocked out in a true Champions League classic.

Eduardo Quaresma (Sporting) 7.7

The talented Portuguese defender didn't feature in the first leg between Sporting and Arsenal, but during the rematch, he was the best on the pitch according to Flashscore.

He made five successful tackles in London, got the ball away to safety nine times and won six of his nine duels to help his side keep a clean sheet that wasn't quit enough to see them through.

Ben White (Arsenal) 7.3

White also only played in one of the two legs, but stood his ground very well in the win in Lisbon. He got into a total of eight duels, won half of them, and generally did nothing wrong at the back.

Midfield

Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) 8.6

The Frenchman dazzled in the first leg with Real Madrid, and he earned an even higher rating in the rematch.

His stunning goal sealed the Bavarians' win, and he also made two successful dribbles and two key passes.

Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) 8.3

As is often the case, Kimmich was virtually everywhere he was needed in the clashes with Real Madrid, especially in the second leg.

His corner set up Bayern's opening goal in the 4-3 win, and he also had the most touches of the ball (136) and completed the most successful passes (102), including 15 into the final third.

Aleksandar Pavlovic (Bayern Munich) 8.1

Pavlovic and Kimmich complemented each other perfectly in midfield. After heading in his midfield partner's corner in Munich, Pavlovic was confident with the ball, completing 95% of his passes, with 33 of his 35 in the final third finding their target.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG) 7.9

As the Parisians took another step in their bid to defend their title, the Georgian winger was extremely active going forward, getting one goal and one assist across the two legs with Liverpool and causing numerous other issues for the Premier League side.

Attack

Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) 8.9

Not even he could stave off Barcelona's exit, but Lamine Yamal showed once again why he is already among the absolute top in the world. The Catalan club had a chance in the second leg thanks to his early goal, and the fact that he made nine successful dribbles in Madrid speaks for itself.

The winger has become the youngest player ever to notch at least ten goal contributions (six goals and four assists) in an edition of the Champions League.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) 8.4

Continuing what has been an incredible season, the Bayern striker scored in both games against Real Madrid and also got an assist to lead his side through to the semis.

In the process, he also became the first footballer in history to have contributed to a goal in at least five consecutive Champions League games with Los Blancos.

Ousmane Dembele (PSG) 8.4

The Ballon d'Or holder secured PSG's progression with two goals at Anfield, and did more than just score across the two games, too.

Making seven key passes and three successful dribbles, he showed he's still capable of the stunning displays that led his side to glory last season.
