ONLINE | Premier League clubs splashed the cash once again throughout January and the deadline day was no exception to that with Enzo Fernandez (22) being the biggest signing of them all. Catch up on all the deals from yesterday and overnight in our blog below.

13:55 CET - It seems as though PSG will not be getting Ziyech this winter. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that the deal is now off for good. That’s what you get for leaving your business so late - no one is happy in the end.

12:35 CET - More on the Ziyech to PSG situation: it seems as though Chelsea made a real mess of the paperwork after terms were agreed and a medical was passed and the deal fell through at the last minute. However, PSG have appealed to the league to allow it.

10:00 CET - Hakim Ziyech's (29) move from Chelsea to PSG was on and then off and then on again last night. The last news is that the deal has collapsed due to Chelsea submitting the wrong documents and running out of time.

9:55 CET - Barcelona's late move for LA Galaxy's Mexican defedner Julian Araujo (21) looks like it may have been submitted a touch too late. Still waiting to see if that deal has gone through successfully.

7:55 CET - TRANSFER - Crystal Palace have signed midfielder Naouirou Ahamada (20) on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Stuttgart.

7:10 CET - LOAN - Fulham have signed experienced full back Cedric Soares (31) on a six-month loan from Arsenal.

7:00 CET - TRANSFER - Southampton may have been knocked out of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening but they were successful on the transfer front managing to wrap up two permanent signings, both forwards.

Kamaldeen Sulemana (20) has joined the Saints from Rennes while Paul Onuachu (28) has joined from Genk.

6:55 CET - TRANSFER - The other big overnight news was the official confirmation of Enzo Fernandez's (22) massive money transfer to Chelsea from Benfica. Read more about that here.

6:51 CET - LOAN - Manchester United have confirmed the arrival of Marcel Sabitzer (28) on loan from Bayern Munich. They had to move quickly to get this one done after the news of Christian Eriken’s injury came through yesterday. Great quick business from United.

0:32 CET - Australian defender Harry Souttar (24) is Leicester City's new addition. Stoke City got 15 million pounds for the centre back who represented the Socceroos at the World Cup in Qatar.

0:26 CET - In another turn of events, Ziyech's PSG loan might be off as the documents were reportedly not delivered on time!

0:09 CET - According to the reports, the deals for Sabitzer (Man United), Fernandez (Chelsea) and Ziyech (PSG) are all done but need to be registered in time to be official.

23:13 CET - Hector Bellerin (27) oficially joins Sporting as Porro's replacement.

23:05 CET - According to Flashscore soures, Enzo Fernandez (22) to Chelsea is a DONE DEAL! He is now leaving the hospital after his medical and heads to the airport. Chelsea will pay a record breaking 120 million and 10 more in add-ons.

23:04 CET - Czech national team goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik (33) will help Huddersfield Town in their Championship relegation battle, joining as a free agent.

21:05 CET - Official and confirmed now, Jorginho (31) moves from Chelsea to Arsenal. “Jorginho is a midfield player with intelligence, deep leadership skills and a huge amount of Premier League and international experience”, head coach Mikel Arteta has said. Read more here

20:37 CET - Dortmund are sending Belgian winger Thorgan Hazard (29) to the Eredivisie where he will help PSV's challenge for the title - simple loan until the end of the season.

20:19 CET - There's one player leaving the Premier League too as Ayoze Perez (29) goes back to his home country of Spain to play for Betis. He spent the last three and a half seasons at Leicester, who are loaning him out to Betis for the remainder of the season.

20:16 CET - Serbian midfielder Sasa Lukic (26) moves to the Premier League, swapping Torino for Fulham who reportedly paid 10 million euros for him.

18:49 CET - Leeds' centre-back Diego Llorente (29) is moving Roma on loan. The Italian side have an option to buy him for 18 million euros.

18:18 CET - Before the arrival of Pedro Porro, Tottenham are letting Djed Spence go to Rennes to get more playing time. It is a straight loan until the end of the season.

18:00 CET - With just six hours left before the transfer window slams shut, here’s what you need to know about the major deals in play: 

Arsenal have all but publicised the signing of Jorginho (31) from Chelsea - it appears the deal is done and we are awaiting an announcement. Meanwhile, it seems as though the Gunners' move for Moises Caicedo (21) of Brighton is now completely off. 

Chelsea are still busy working away on a deal to sign Enzo Fernandez (22) from Benfica for what would be a British record transfer fee while Manchester United are trying to steal Bayern’s Marcel Sabitzer (28) from under their noses. It is being reported that Sabitzer is on his way to England. 

17:18 CET - Barcelona player Hector Bellerin (27) has landed in Lisbon ahead of finalising a move to Sporting.

15:55 CET - As reported earlier, it seemed as though Isco (30) was very close to securing a move to Union Berlin. Reports are emerging that the deal is now off after issues arose post-medical.

15:47 CET - TRANSFER - Leicester City have signed young Ghanaian striker Nathan Opoku (21) out of the US college system. He will go straight out on loan to Belgian club OH Leuven for the rest of the season.

14:30 CET - Inter Milan’s Slovak defender Milan Skriniar (27) has already agreed to join PSG in the summer once his contract in Italy expires. Rumours had been circling that PSG are trying to get him in earlier on a last-minute loan deal but that move has seemingly collapsed.

14:23 CET - With Christian Eriksen out injured for an extended period of time, it leaves Manchester United with a race to sign a replacement rather quickly. According to Sky Sports, they have an option to sign Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer (28) from Bayern. Atletico's Yannick Carrasco (29) was reportedly also offered to United on loan.

13:08 CET -TRANSFER - Tottenham have snapped up prospect Jude Soonsup-Bell (19) from Chelsea and added him to their development squad. One for the future.

12:24 CET - Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of full-back Joao Cancelo (28), intially on loan until the end of the season.

"We’ve signed him on loan now and have the possibility of signing him permanently in the summer. João is a player we’ve been thinking about for a while now because we very much appreciate his qualities. He’s the optimal fit in our system with his attacking style of play and dynamism, and his mentality and experience fit very well in our team," said Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern's sporting director. 12:08 CET - In case you didn't have enough Arsenal news, Crystal Palace are in talks to sign midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga (23) from them, according to The Athletic. Fabrizio Romano reports it would be a loan until summer.

11:40 CET - With Spanish right back Pedro Porro (23) set to head to Tottenham from Sporting, Spurs are ready to let Matt Doherty (31) leave. Reports are emerging in various media that he will be sent on loan to Atletico Madrid.

11:34 CET - Here’s a fun one: Currently clubless, former Real Madrid creative player Isco (30) is being heavily linked with a move to Bundesliga surprise package Union Berlin. The deal is reportedly very close to being wrapped up.

11:30 CET - TRANSFER - Leeds United have acquired defender Diogo Monteiro (18) from Swiss club Servette.

11:23 CET - LOAN -  Championship side Norwich have signed Arsenal player Marquinhos (19) on loan for the remainder of the season.

11:05 CET - TRANSFER - Newcastle have announced the signing of young defender Harrison Ashby (21) from West Ham.

11:00 CET - TRANSFER - Man-in-the-know Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Arsenal have agreed on a deal with Chelsea to sign Jorginho (31) for £12million.

10:05 CET - The Athletic have reported that Arsenal have made a world record bid for Manchester United’s England women’s international Alessia Russo (23). Russo’s contract with United is due to end this summer and Arsenal are keen to swoop while they can. 

The world-record signing in the women’s game is currently Keira Walsh’s move to Barcelona from Manchester City last summer for £400,000.

9:50 CET - LOAN - Bournemouth have bolstered their defence with the addition of Matias Vina (25) from Roma. The left back who can also play centrally moves on an initial loan for a €500k fee with a €15million permanent option in place.

9:45 CET - LOAN - Tottenham have sent winger Bryan Gil (21) back to Sevilla on loan with a buy option. The Spaniard had failed to crack the first team during his time in London.

6:42 CET -  It’s deadline day in the January transfer window and that means more madness. There are plenty of rumours circling the media and we expect a few big deals to be made today.

Main characters Chelsea are still pushing to sign Enzo Fernandez (22) from Benfica for silly money, Arsenal might take Jorginho (31) off their hands if they can’t get Moises Caicedo (21) from Brighton. Meanwhile, Pedro Porro (23) looks close to signing for Tottenham Hotspur and Hakim Ziyech (29) could wind up at PSG by the end of things.

21:04 CET - USA international midfielder Weston McKennie (24) leaves Juventus and joins Premier League side Leeds United on loan. Leeds have an option to buy him in the summer for a reported fee of 33 million euros.

19:42 CET - Italian midfielder Jorginho (31) might leave Chelsea earlier than when his contract runs out in the summer. Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein both report the club is willing to sell him and it seems Arsenal are strongly considering him as an alternative if the Moises Caicedo deal falls through.

16:35 CET - It seems like everyone wants Brighton’s players these days. Not surprising then that they’ve bolstered their squad. They have announced the signing of young Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari (19) from AIK on a €6million deal.

16:30 CET - Fresh from appointing Sean Dyche as their new manager, Everton are now looking to give him some new players to work with before the transfer deadline tomorrow evening.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that they have submitted a substantial offer to Chelsea for England international midfielder Conor Gallagher (22).

Will they have enough time to get this one over the line? God knows Chelsea could do with offloading one or two players.

16:24 CET - TRANSFER - Wolves have added another player to their squad before the window closes tomorrow. They have signed Brazilian midfielder Joao Gomes (21) from Flamengo for a reported £15million.

13:41 CET - In perhaps a surprising turn of events, Joao Cancelo is set to leave Manchester City and join Bayern on loan with an option to buy. He should undergo his medical in less than 24 hours.

10:05 CET - One of the window’s most written-about players is Argentine World Cup star Enzo Fernandez (22). The talented Benfica player has been linked with a few big clubs but Chelsea seem to be at the front of the queue and are reportedly preparing a huge offer to lure him to London.

10:00 CET - It looks like Newcastle United are ready to let long-term servant Jonjo Shelvey (30) leave the club. Reports are emerging that a move to fellow Premier League club Nottingham Forest is all but done.

9:51 CET - LOAN - Leicester City have confirmed the signing of Brazilian winger Tete (22) from Shakhtar Donetsk. He has signed until the end of the season after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Lyon.

January 29th

17:04 CET - TRANSFER - Newcastle United have completed the signing of forward Anthony Gordon (21) from Premier League rivals Everton, both clubs said on Sunday.

British media reported Newcastle will pay up to 45 million pounds ($55.8 million) for the youngster, who will bolster their attacking options as they push for a Champions League spot.

9:35 CET - TRANSFER/LOAN - Chelsea have signed right-back Malo Gusto (19) from Olympique Lyonnais on a deal until June 2030 and loaned him back to the French side for the rest of the season, the Premier League club said on Sunday.

Financial details were not revealed but Sky Sports said the transfer fee was 26.3 million pounds.

January 28th

7:30 CET - LOAN - A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers have announced the loan signing of former France international Morgan Schneiderlin (33) from Nice until the end of the season. 

7:15 CET - More on the Moises Caicedo (21) story. The talented Ecuador international has made a very public plea to his club Brighton & Hove Albion to let him move to Arsenal. He took to social media to explain his desire to take up this “massive opportunity”.

As reported yesterday, Arsenal have already had a formal bid worth £60million rejected. Surely more to follow.

07:09 CET - New Contract - Newcastle United have announced that England international Kieran Trippier (32) has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until 2025. 

January 27th

18:09 CET - TRANSFER - Back to the Premier League, and Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of Antoine Semenyo (23) from Championship outfit, Bristol City. The Ghanain forward has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Cherries.

16:54 CET - TRANSFER - The pathway continues. RB Salzburg have continued their policy of signing promising young stars with the acquisition of Oscar Gloukh (19) from Maccabi Tel Aviv.

12:47 CET - The transfer saga of Moises Caicedo (21) has a new chapter with Brighton & Hove Albion rejecting a reported £60million offer from Arsenal for the Ecuador international. Chelsea have also had an offer rejected. This is will probably run and run until Deadline Day on Tuesday.

12:44 CET - TRANSFER - Borussia Dortmund have bought another young and exciting talent into the fold, after announcing the signing of Julien Duranville (16) from Anderlecht on a long-term contract. 

January 25th

17:44 CET - LOAN - Napoli have a new goalkeeper as Fiorentina's Pierluigi Gollini (27) join on loan until June 2024.

15:47 CET - LOAN - Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Arnaut Danjuma (25) on loan from Villarreal.

The Dutch winger was reportedly stolen from under Everton's nose at the 11th hour and will stay at Spurs until the end of the season.

12:09 CET - Portuguese striker Fabio Silva (20) will play for Dutch side PSV. He is moving there on loan from Wolves after spending the first half of the season in Belgium with Anderlecht.

9:41 CET - A tug-of-war is underway between Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund for the signature of Valladolid right back Ivan Fresneda (18) if reports are to be believed.

9:30 CET - Nouveau riche Newcastle United are ready to flex their financial muscles once again before the January transfer window slams shut next week. Reports are emerging that they are keen on highly-rated Everton attacker Anthony Gordon (21). 

Gordon made the headlines in the last window when Chelsea and Newcastle were trying to prize him away from Goodison Park. With Everton bang in trouble and currently managerless, they might be reluctant to sell but, there again, a cash injection might allow them to bolster their relegation-threatened squad.

January 24th

18:02 CET - LOAN - More from Tottenham today, with Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma (25) deciding for London rather than Everton. The Dutch international will be loaned until the end of the season.

11:29 CET - TRANSFER - Milan and Tottenham are in the race for Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo.

According to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia, the Italian side have approached him and Roma's directors in the last couple of days. Meanwhile, Spurs seem to find it hard in impressing the capital club with a loan proposal and an obligation to buy should Zaniolo reach a minimum of appearances.

His contract is due to expire in June 2024.

January 23rd

21:39 CET - TRANSFER - Premier League leaders Arsenal have signed Polish international defender Jakub Kiwior (22) on a long-term deal from Serie A's Spezia, the London club said on Monday.

Although it did not specify the length of Kiwior's contract, the transfer was reported by British media to be worth more than 20 million pounds.

20:43 CET - TRANSFER - Manchester City have signed Argentine midfielder Maximo Perrone (20) from Velez Sarsfield on a contract until 2028, the Premier League club said on Monday.

The midfielder is currently playing in the Under-20 South American Championship and will join up with his new teammates afterwards.

12:33 CET - Aston Villa confirmed that loanee Jan Bednarek (26) has been called back by Southampton.

The defender joined Villa in the summer, making four appearances for the Claret and Blue. Despite an option to keep him all season, however, they have agreed to Saints' request.

January 22nd

17:45 CET - TRANSFER - Struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed centre back Craig Dawson (32) on a 2-1/2 year deal from fellow Premier League side West Ham United, the Midlands club said on Sunday.

Financial details were not disclosed but British media said the 32-year-old cost 3.3 million pounds ($4.09 million).

14:37 CET - TRANSFER - It's confirmed offically, Croatian defender Josip Juranovic (27) moves from Celtic to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.

January 21st

16:22 CET - CONTRACT - The transfer saga is over - Youssoufa Moukoko (18) will continue to play for Borussia Dortmund. He extended his contract, which was originally supposed to run out this summer, until 2026.

January 20th

23:56 CET - TRANSFER - Chelsea have signed winger Noni Madueke (20) from PSV Eindhoven on a seven-and-a-half-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year, the Premier League club said on Friday.

23:07 CET - TRANSFER - Leicester City have signed defender Victor Kristiansen (20) from Danish Superliga side FC Copenhagen, both clubs announced on Friday.

The Dane will join the Premier League side for an undisclosed fee, but British and Danish media reported it would be for about 17 million pounds.

15:26 CET - LOAN - Another striker on the move is Chris Wood (31), who has joined Nottingham Forest on an initial six-month loan, with an obligation for a permanent transfer in the summer from Newcastle United. It is now likely that the Magpies themselves will enter into the market for a new striker to fill the void left by the New Zealand international.

15:22 CET - TRANSFER - Not one to be shocked given the news over the last few days but Atletico Madrid have signed Memphis Depay (28) from LaLiga rivals Barcelona, the two clubs said on Friday, with the Netherlands forward penning a two-and-a-half year contract.

14:09 CET - TRANSFER - West Ham have confirmed the signing of Aston Villa striker Danny Ings (30) for a fee of around £15 million on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

14:04 CET - DEAL AGREED - Arsenal have been busy in the last few days. Numerous sources have confirmed that the Gunners have agreed a €20 million deal with Spezia for Polish defender Jakub Kiwior (22).
