England strode to a clinical 3-0 win over Wales in both teams' last group game at the World Cup in Qatar. The loss means Wales' tournament is now over as they finish bottom of Group B. For England, their impressive victory confirms that they finish top of the group and will next face Senegal in the round of 16.

22:00 CET: That's all from our live coverage of the Wales - England match.

It was a comprehensive victory for England in the end. Marcus Rashford (25) was the standout performer with two goals. Surely, he's cemented his spot in their lineup for the next match.

And speaking of the next match, it is now confirmed that England will meet Senegal in the round of 16 on Sunday.

The USA have also beaten Iran which means they will also progress to the round of 16 and face the Netherlands.

Have a look at the full match report from Wales-England here and see all the match stats below.

Second Half

94': That's all here as the referee blows for full-time and it has been all England, especially in the second half.

92': John Stones really should have made it four there, the ball fell to right in front of the goal but he lifts it over the bar.

90': There will be four minutes added on in this match and Wales will be hoping that goes quickly.

84': Colwill unleashes a shot from distance but just slices it and he can't trouble Pickford, who has had a relatively comfortable evening in England's goal.

80': Harry Wilson is on for Dan James and Joe Allen has also departed in place of Ruben Colwill

78': England are applying further pressure and creating chances. They could score more here. For Wales, it's now just a matter of pride. These are the dying stages of their World Cup adventure, can they get a goal at least?

75': Marcus Rashford is replaced by Jack Grealish. What a performance by Rashford tonight - he's played his way into the starting lineup you would think after those two goals.

And looking at the Momentum graphic below, you can see just how this game has gone. It's been all England tonight.

68': GOAL! Rashford makes it two for him and three for England with a brilliant goal. Kalvin Phillips set him free with the ball down the right channel, he cut inside and made an angle before fizzing a shot past Danny Ward. Impressive from Rashford and now England are cruising.

65': Luke Shaw is replaced by Kieran Trippier for England.

61': Aaron Ramsey is booked for a mistimed tackle on Henderson.

59': Another change for Wales now as well. Ben Davies is replaced by Joe Morrell.

57': Gareth Southgate has responded to this comfortable lead by making a triple change. Kane, Walker and Rice all depart. In their places come Callum Wilson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kalvin Phillips.

52': ANOTHER GOAL for England! Well, that was quick! England recover possession from Wales deep in their territory and Harry Kane whips a ball across the face of the goal to Phil Foden who is unmarked and ready to score at the back post.

50': GOAL ENGLAND! Wow, Marcus Rashford has put his side into the lead in real style by dispatching a free kick into the top corner. Stunning finish!

45': The second half is underway here and, unfortunately for Wales, their captain and talisman Gareth Bale has had to come off during the break. He is replaced by the promising Brennan Johnson.

First Half

20:53 CET: The first-half stats (below) tell the story of this match so far. England have controlled possession and had all the good chances. Wales have been largely absent from the match in an attacking sense and have unfortunately lost Neco Williams to a head injury. On the bright side for the Welsh, if you had offered them to go into the break goalless, they would have bitten your hand off. This suits their game plan - they will hope to stay resolute and frustrate England a little longer and try to knick a goal on the break. The question is, how much longer can they deny this dangerous English attack?

Half-time in USA - Iran: At the break, the USA are the ones in the driving seat for qualification for the knockout rounds as they lead 1-0 over Iran. Christian Pulisic labelled 'Captain America' put his body on the line for the goal and somehow carried on despite looking worse for wear. Iran now need a goal, which has seemed, unlikely in the first half, if they are to get back in the game.

50': Nice effort from Joe Allen from distance but his shot is high and wide. And that's halftime. Stay tuned for all the stats.

48': Foden floats a cross beyond the back post and stones loops a header at goal but it's easily dealt with by Ward

46': There will be five added minutes.

45': England huff and puff but can't trouble Danny Ward in the Welsh goal. They are very dominant, however, and Wales will be desperate for halftime now.

LIVE from USA - Iran: GOAL! The USA have broken the deadlock in their must-win match thanks to a Christian Pulisic strike.

39': Rashford tries an audacious bicycle kick at goal and England are starting the express themselves a bit more now. That's what they can do when they get going.

38': Wonderfully slick move from England as Bellingham dances through and plays it to Foden who can only shoot over the bar. Lovely build-up, though.

35': Neco Willams has gone again unfortunately and it looks like he's still feeling that blow to the head. Conor Roberts will be coming on to replace him and that's probably the safer thing to do.

30': First yellow card of the match and it's for Dan James of Wales for a poorly timed challenge on John Stones

25': Neco Williams is receiving medical treatment after a heavy ball collided with his head and he fell tho the floor. He seems ok though.

LIVE from USA - Iran: In a must-win game for the USA, they have come out strong in search of goals against Iran. Sergino Dest forced a smart save from the Iran goalkeeper and Christian Pulisic has looked threatening. But Iran, who will be happy with a draw to send them through, have stood firm so far.

20': Can't say much else has happened in this match. Wales seem happy to sit back and watch England have the ball. That's their game plan - wait and try to hit them on the break. They don't mind playing like this deep into the game so long as they don't concede.

15': First quarter hour ends with Foden shooting well wide from distance. There hasn't been much action here - just that chance for Rashford of note. England have had the lion's share of possession but they are feeling the game out more than anything.

10': First big chance here - Rashford is played in by Kane's threaded through-ball but Danny Ward gets out quick enough to smother the shot. That is the only shot at goal so far.

4': Some tactical observations from the early stages - Phil Foden (right) and Marcus Rashford (left) have set up very wide for England, allowing the full backs - Walker and Shaw - to tuck inside them.

Wales have moved to a back four for this match - perhaps an indication of their intent as it has allowed them to play three forwards in Bale, Moore and James with Ramsey in the 10 role behind them.

1': Wales kick off and we are underway! Can Wales do something special? Let's find out!

Pre Match

19:57 CET: Tonight's referee at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium is Slavko Vincic of Slovenia. Wales will play in their customary red kit, England in white and blue.

19:54 CET: And the players are out for the anthems.

19:50 CET: Welcome to our live updates for the Group B match between Wales and England. A bit of context before things get started - England is currently top of the group on four points, Iran are second with three, USA are third with two, and Wales are last with one.

Wales MUST win and hope that the US and Iran draw in order to reach the round of 16. Any other combination of results will send them home.

England can only get knocked out if they suffer a four-goal defeat tonight or worse - that seems very unlikely but... crazier things have happened!

Team News

England manager Gareth Southgate has rung the changes for this match with defender Kyle Walker (32) getting his first taste of action at the tournament.

With England all but assured of reaching the last 16 barring a four-goal defeat, Southgate has made four changes in all with Walker coming in at right back for Kieran Trippier (32).

The experienced Jordan Henderson (32) replaces Mason Mount (23) in midfield while Marcus Rashford (25), who came off the bench to score against Iran, will complement Harry Kane (29) up front with Phil Foden (22) also getting his first start in Qatar.

Wales, who need to win and hope Iran and the United States draw or beat England by four goals, made two changes with Dan James (25) and Joe Allen (32) coming into the starting lineup in place of Harry Wilson (25) and Connor Roberts (27).

Wales: Danny Ward, Neco Williams, Ben Davies, Chris Mepham, Joe Rodon, Joe Allen, Aaron Ramsey, Gareth Bale, Dan James, Ethan Ampadu, Kieffer Moore

England: Jordan Pickford, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden

Introduction

All four teams can mathematically progress out of Group B and into the round of 16 going into the last round of games.

England are in poll position with four points, Wales are sitting last with just one.

The Welsh have failed to produce their best form in Qatar and really can't have any complaints about where they stand in the group. They'll need to put their previous results behind them, however, and summon up all their spirit for this one. It's now or never for them. Wales need to win, and hope that USA and Iran draw, to go through.

England were purring against Iran in their opening match of the World Cup but struggled to break the USA down in game two. They should make it out of the group but anything can happen in a heated derby like this.
