Orgryte are off the bottom of Allsvenskan after ending a nine-game winless run thanks to an exhilarating victory over title-chasing Hacken, while AIK's form continues to improve after a win at Mjallby.

Orgryte 4-3 Hacken

Orgryte's only win of the season before today was away at Mjallby on matchday two back in April, but their home fans finally witnessed three points in Allsvenskan with a thrilling victory over Hacken, whose second defeat in a row keeps them third, nine points behind leaders Sirius.

The home side took the lead inside five minutes when a corner routine was both started and finished by former Hacken man Adam Andersson - his low strike when getting the ball back from Owen Parker-Price had too much on it for the goalkeeper.

The Orgryte joy looked to be short-lived, as Julius Lindberg curled a beautiful equaliser in off the post from the corner of the penalty area, before Adrian Svanback beat the offside trap to head home Lindberg's cross to put Hacken in front late in the first half.

But with 20 minutes to go, confusion between the Hacken defence and goalkeeper allowed Noah Christoffersson to nick in and roll an equaliser into the empty net. Five minutes later, OIS were back in front when a cleared corner was sent back into the danger area by Andersson and nodded in by Jerome Tibbling.

The end-to-end action continued a couple of minutes after, as Abdoulaye Doumbia latched onto a Lindberg ball inside and finished from a seemingly impossible angle, but the final say arrived three minutes from time - Parker-Price punched a ball through to Christoffersson, who did well to get it out of his feet and finish well to send the home crowd wild and take Orgryte three points clear of Halmstad.

Mjallby 1-2 AIK

AIK's perfect return since the summer break continued in Hallevik where they became the third side to beat champions Mjallby away from home this season.

Things could have been so different for the away side, as goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt - returning to the AIK line-up after playing twice at the World Cup for Sweden - gave the ball away inside the area, but Jacob Bergstrom failed to punish him by striking the bar with the goal gaping.

A frustrating afternoon for Mjallby was summed up by Jeppe Kjaer being booked for throwing his own boot, and those frustrations were compounded in the 74th minute, when AIK broke from inside their own penalty area, before Axel Kouame had all the time he needed to square the ball for Victor Andersson to slot home.

The points were sealed in the final minute of the 90, as AIK caught MAIF on the break again and this time Andersson was the provider, slotting the ball through to Adrian Helm, who finished with aplomb.

One bright moment for Mjallby came in added time, when Ali Youssef grabbed himself a debut goal, but that wasn't enough to stop his new side from ending what is now five without a win. MAIF slip to eighth, while back-to-back wins have seen AIK reach fourth.
