Tuesday’s Danish cup match between FC Copenhagen and Skovshoved escalated in a matter of seconds.
The Lions had just taken a 3–0 lead when several yellow smoke bombs were suddenly thrown onto the pitch in front of the most die-hard Copenhagen fans.
The match was quickly halted, and several individuals from the Copenhagen fan section stormed toward the corner to confront the people who had thrown the smoke bombs.
Amidst the chaotic scenes, several stewards also ran towards the area. The match was resumed later. FC Copenhagen won the match 3-0. FC Copenhagen and Brondby will face each other this weekend in the New Firm derby.
