Ajax midfielder Kian Fitz-Jim has left the club after seven years and signed a contract at Serie A side Torino, the clubs confirmed on Friday.

Fitz-Jim, 23, joins Torino for a reported fee of €3 million, excluding bonuses and a sell-on fee. The midfielder has signed a three-year contract in Italy, becoming the fifth Dutchman to play for Torino after Faas Wilkes, Michel van de Korput, Wim Kieft, and Perr Schuurs.

Kian Fitz-Jim joined Ajax in 2019 and made his professional debut for the club in January 2023. The 1.74m-tall central midfielder played 72 games for the Amsterdam outfit, scoring 7 goals. Additionally, Fitz-Jim made 103 appearances for Jong Ajax in the Dutch second tier - the second-most in the team's professional history.
