Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their efforts to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister (24).
Additionally, Reds veteran James Milner (37) is believed to be close to signing for the south-coast club this summer.
In his report for the Guardian, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims Brighton are 'confident' of striking a deal with the player when his contract at Anfield expires.
Potentially going in the other direction, Mac Allister is said to have been presented with details of Liverpool's project and financial proposal.
The Argentine is expected to leave Brighton early, in May or June, but there isn't an agreement with the Reds, although talks are advancing.
