18:55 CET - Our WTA Flash Moment of the day comes from Qatar, courtesy of the heavyweight clash between Victoria Azarenka (33) and Belinda Bencic (25).

Bencic was dominated by Azarenka in the first set but brought it back magnificently to win the match 1-6, 7-6, 6-4. Our Flash Moment is from the second set tussle between these two heavy-hitters.

17:56 CET - One of the biggest games of the day has finished in Doha, with Jessica Pegula (28) beating Latvian Jelena Ostapenko (25) in a back-and-forth three-setter. Ostapenko bounced back from losing the first set to take the second 6-2, but it was Pegula who prevailed, winning 7-5 in the decider.

15:47 CET - More from the ATP event in Rotterdam. Denmarks' Holger Rune (19) has moved into the second round with a 6-4, 6-4 win over France's Constant Lestienne (30).

14:31 CET - Two early results from Rotterdam where the ATP Tour has rolled into this week. Last weekend's winner in Marseille, Jannik Sinner (21) has continued his hot form with a three-set win over Benjamin Bonzi (26). The beaten finalist from the French city, Maxime Cressy (25) has also been in action, overcoming Tim van Rijthoven (25) 6-3, 6-7, 6-3.

8:30 CET - A near four-month stint on the sidelines saw Carlos Alcaraz lose the world number one ranking to Novak Djokovic and as the Spaniard prepares for his return to the court at the Argentina Open later on Wednesday he says he is determined to get it back as he faces Laslo Djere.

Coming in great form is none other than Belinda Bencic who is preparing for an animated match against veteran Victoria Azarenka. Staying in Doha, world number one Iga Swiatek returns to the action against Danielle Collins while another clash to look out for would be Jelena Ostapenko vs Jessica Pegula.
