17:25 CET - Good evening and welcome to our coverage of the 2026 US Open men's final between Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton!
Top-seeded Zverev is contesting a third successive Grand Slam final, having finally claimed his maiden major at Roland Garros in June, while Shelton is looking to end an agonising 23-year wait for a men's champion at Flushing Meadows.
The final, which is due to get underway at 20:00 CET, is a sixth career meeting between the two players, with Zverev having won all five previous encounters, including twice on American hard courts.
