Three-time All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (38) announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday after 13 seasons.

Suh, the former No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, spent the first five years of his career as a member of the Detroit Lions before moving on to four more teams, which include the Miami Dolphins (2015-2017), Los Angeles Rams (2018), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019-2021), and Philadelphia Eagles (2022).

He released a full statement on social media.

The former Nebraska Cornhusker posted a career-high 10.5 sacks in his rookie season, including an interception - making it the only one of his career. His stellar rookie campaign earned him the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, his first Pro Bowl selection, and his first AP All-Pro First Team selection.

Suh tallied 600 tackles and 71.5 career sacks in 199 games over the course of his career. He was notorious for being healthy throughout his career, playing a full season every year of his career, except in 2011 when he missed two games for serving a two-game suspension, and in 2022, his final year, which he played in eight games for the Eagles.

The disruptive tackle would eventually be named to the All-2010s Hall of Fame team before going on to win his first Super Bowl as a member of the Bucs when they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV (2021).
