The Tennessee Titans hired Brian Daboll as their new offensive coordinator on Tuesday, according to the team.

Daboll is the former head coach of the New York Giants, but was fired after a 2-8 start to this season.

He is the first major addition to the new Robert Saleh staff, who was recently hired by the team as their new head coach.

In his three-and-a-half years with the Giants, Daboll finished with a 20-40-1 record.

The 50-year-old has an extensive resume as an offensive coordinator. Before being hired by the Giants as head coach in 2022, he was the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills from 2018 to 2021.

Daboll was also the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns for two seasons (2009-2010) before fulfilling the same role with the Miami Dolphins (2011) and Kansas City Chiefs (2012).

The Titans ranked 31st out of 32 teams in total offence and 30th in scoring this past season. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward was tied with Geno Smith (Las Vegas Raiders) for being the most-sacked quarterback in the entire league (55).

Tennessee finished the season 3-14 and possess the No. 4 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
