A vault of 6.28m just over a week ago was the 12th of those successful record breaks, as Duplantis became the first Swede to break a world record in any discipline in Stockholm since 1987.
For most competitors, cracking the 6.30m mark would be the obvious next step, but Mondo is not most competitors - he is already looking to set the bar another 10cm higher.
"I would like to take 6.40. It would be another such crazy milestone, and it feels like it's within my reach," the 25-year-old told TT.
However, he has only added an extra centimetre to each world record attempt so far, but trying to add 6.30m to his collection could come before long.
"I have always believed that I can continue to push myself a little further, and that's what I've shown now. I just want to continue and take 6.30 as soon as possible."
His first chance to do that could come tomorrow, at the Continental Tour Gold meeting in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
"Maybe I’ll try to attack the meeting record of 6.12m, or even go higher. A lot depends on the weather, too. I believe the stands will be packed and the fans will push us forward," he told World Athletics.
