Antonsen was drawn in a group featuring Christo Popov, Jonathan Christie, and Kunlavut Vitidsarn. Antonsen will play his first match against Popov on Wednesday around 11.00, while he is set to face Christie on Thursday around 14.00. The last game against Vitidsarn will presumably be played on Friday.
"It was going to be tough no matter what. I don't think anyone here at the World Tour Finals is sitting here thinking it's going to be a walk in the park. It's tough."
"I think everyone is a bit nervous about it and finds it a bit nerve-wracking. That's just the way it is. You have to throw yourself into it headfirst and then we'll see how it ends", said Antonsen to TV2 Sport after the draw.
The BWF World Tour Finals will be staged from 17 to 21 December 2025 in Hangzhou, China, and features a total prize pool of $3,000,000.
