Mike Trout (33) returned from the injured list on Friday night to help his Los Angeles Angels take down the Cleveland Guardians, breaking their four-game losing streak.

Trout went 1-5 in his return with a single and two strikeouts in the Angels' 4-1 win. 

Eight of the nine Angels players had at least one hit during the game, including this moonshot of a home run by Jorge Soler (33) for his eighth of the season.

Soler finished the game going 2-4 with a home run, single, two runs, two RBI, and a walk. 

Centerfielder Jo Adell (26) had himself a nice night for the Angels, going 3-4 with an RBI and three singles.

Angels starting pitcher Jose Soriano (26) threw six shutout innings, giving up just four hits and four walks while striking out a pair, earning his fourth win of the season. 

Los Angeles improved their record to 26-30 on the season, remaining in fourth place in the American League West division. 

Meanwhile, the Guardians fall to third place in the American League Central division with a 30-26 record.
