Washington Nationals outfielder Daylen Lile hit an inside-the-park home run in extra innings during the team's Saturday matchup against the New York Mets.

Lile's big moment came during the 11th inning off relief pitcher Tyler Rogers. The homer marked Liles' seventh of the season, bringing his RBI total up to 35.

Washington would go on to win the game 5-3.

The 22-year-old is slashing an impressive .288/.337/.477 through 85 games this season with eight stolen bases, proving to be yet another possible young Nats stud.

Lile is batting a ridiculous .370 average in September with a 1.178 OPS.

After their loss, the Mets are now just 1.5 games ahead of the Cincinnati Reds for that final Wild Card spot in the National League with just seven games left.
