Schneider, 46, has spent all five seasons as a manager in the MLB with the Blue Jays. He took the reins in 2022 after the team fired Charlie Montoyo and has since posted a 303-257 record.
The Jays took the Los Angeles Dodgers to seven games in the 2025 World Series, one that many are considering the best World Series in modern history.
Despite their World Series loss, Schneider led his team to a 94-68 record and their first American League East division title since 2015.
Toronto have put up at least 89 wins in three of the four seasons with Schneider as manager and are predicted to finish second behind the New York Yankees this year with an 85-77 record.
The Jays have been busy with Atkins, 52, at the helm this offseason. They lost Bo Bichette to the New York Mets, but made some big splashes with starting pitchers Dylan Cease (7 years, $210 million) and Cody Ponce (3 years, $30 million), along with top relief pitcher Tyler Rogers (3 years, $37 million), and top Japanese free agent Kazuma Okamoto (4 years, $60 million) off the international market.
Atkins, who has been with the team since 2015 as their GM, also brought back veteran and future Hall of Fame starting pitcher Max Scherzer on a one-year, $3 million deal and inked their star player, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., to a massive 14-year, $500 million contract ahead of last season - he's coming off a season where he put up career-low numbers (23 home runs, 84 RBI - min. 150 games).
The team is expected to make another World Series push this year after their season begins on March 27th against the Athletics.
