Dolphins sign QB Malik Willis to three-year, $67.5 million deal

The Miami Dolphins and quarterback Malik Willis agreed on a three-year, $67.5 million deal on Monday with $45 million guaranteed ahead of the March 11th free agency period.

Willis, 26, finished the 2025 season playing with a 85.7% completion percentage in four games (one start) and a stellar 145.5 passer rating.

The former third-round pick of the 2022 NFL Draft spent his first two seasons as a backup for the Tennessee Titans before spending the past two seasons in the same role with the Green Bay Packers. Now, after the Dolphins released Tua Tagovailoa early today (details here), Willis will be the team's new starting quarterback going forward. 

It will be the first time in Willis' career that'll he'll be the franchise starting quarterback.
