Jones becomes the third England representative in Inter’s squad, alongside John Stones and Djed Spence, who both joined the club this summer. His arrival further strengthens an already deep midfield.
The 25-year-old made 228 senior appearances for Liverpool over eight seasons, scoring 22 goals and winning two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two League Cups, the Community Shield and the Club World Cup.
Jones enjoyed success with England at youth level, helping the U21s win the Euros in 2023 and earning a place in the tournament’s team of the year. He made his senior debut in 2024, scoring against Greece in the Nations League.
A technically gifted midfielder with an ability to carry the ball and beat opponents, Jones has operated in a variety of positions during his career.
After 16 years with Liverpool, he now moves on to Inter for the next stage of his career.
