Georgia's Brett Thorson won the 2025 Ray Guy Award for the best punter in college football on Friday.

Thorson averaged 45.2 yards on 42 punts this season for the Bulldogs and now joins Drew Butler (2009) as the only two punters in program history to win the award.

The Senior spent all four years of his collegiate career at Georgia, now putting up back-to-back 42-punt seasons. Thorson set a career-long during his Freshman year when he booted a punt for 75 yards, which tied Butler for the 10th-longest in Georgia history and became tied for the second-highest net punting average (42.6) in 2022.

Thorson has the opportunity to become the first Georgia punter drafted since Jake Camarda (2022) and just the fourth ever.
