In Ferencvaros, she teams up with Mette Tranborg and will once again be coached by Jesper Jensen. Jensen has previously coached Anna Kristensen in both Team Esbjerg and the Danish national team.
"I am very proud and happy to be joining Ferencvaros this summer, and I am looking forward to testing myself in a new tournament and a new country", says Anna Kristensen to the Ferencvaros website.
She calls Ferencvaros "one of the biggest clubs in Europe".
"Its ambitions, goals, and dreams are the same as mine, and that is why I think it is the right step in my career", says the 25-year-old goalkeeper.
Jesper Jensen is looking forward to the reunion with the strong goalkeeper.
"Anna Kristensen is perhaps the most talented goalkeeper in the world right now. She is already among the top five, and it was no coincidence that she was named best player at the European Championship last year", says Jensen.
