Seattle Mariners' Josh Naylor became just the fourth first baseman in MLB history to record 20 home runs and 30 stolen bases in a single season.

The other three are Joe Carter (1987), Jeff Bagwell (1997, 1999), and Paul Goldschmidt (2016).

Naylor stole his 30th base of the year during Friday night's action against the Los Angeles Dodgers

The 28-year-old had previously stolen just 25 bases in total...across his previous six seasons.

Naylor was traded to the Seattle Mariners from the Arizona Diamondbacks at this year's trade deadline.

Since then, Naylor came into Friday's matchup slashing .297/.340/.490 for the M's (.294/.353/.462 on the year).

He has also hit at least 20 home runs in back-to-back seasons, while his 159 hits this season are a career best.

Seattle recently clinched the American League West division title for the first time since 2001. It'll also be their second postseason appearance since 2022.
