Rassie Erasmus' side won the title last year after beating Argentina in the final round, and will be hoping to bring that momentum into the 2025 edition.
Standing in their way is a tough set of fixtures which include two away games in New Zealand - one in Auckland and one in Wellington - and they will wrap things up in London on Saturday, 4 October.
The number-one ranked side come into the Rugby Championship as favourites, but New Zealand are hot behind their heels in second place.
Australia are currently ranked number six in the world, with Argentina one place behind the Wallabies in seventh.
