New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan will be testing free agency for the first time in his NFL career after the team decided not to offer a new deal ahead of the March 11th free agency period.

Jordan, 36, has spent his entire 15-year NFL career with the Saints since they drafted him 24th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft - missing just two games in that entire time span.

He finished this past season with 47 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 15 quarterback hits, 10.5 sacks (four in the final three games), two pass deflections, and two forced fumbles.

Jordan is currently 22nd on the all-time NFL sacks list with 132. He would need just 10 more sacks to surpass the legendary Hall of Famer Michael Strahan (141.5) to leap into the top-10.

The three-time All-Pro and member of the Hall of Fame All-2010s Team has seven seasons where he's posted at least 10 sacks, with his career-high of 15.5 coming during the 2019 season.

Now, without a Super Bowl ring to his name, Jordan could be looking for a new home on a contender that needs a veteran pass rusher.
