For the first time since the second week of the season, Sirius are not leading the 2026 Allsvenskan standings after Hammarby went first on goal difference with a 2-1 win at Malmo, albeit with Sirius still to play on 2nd November.

Malmo 1-2 Hammarby

Hammarby went level on 55 points with Sirius, but a goal difference 12 goals better than that of the Uppsala side has taken them to first place, though Sirius will be heavy favourites to reclaim top spot when they take on Halmstad 24 hours later.

Sirius' advantage looked safe just seven minutes in, when Otto Rosengren's header from the right was met by a firm Diego Garcia header which gave Warner Hahn no chance in the Hammarby goal.

But after the break, the visitors turned the match around with two goals in five minutes before the hour mark - a deep Montader Madjed corner was met at the back post by the head of Victor Eriksson, and then a poor pass out from the back was intercepted by Victor Lind, who played a one-two with Frank Adjei before finding Madjed inside the area, and his curling strike nestled in the far corner.

Lind had the ideal chance to wrap up the points but skied his effort over the bar, but after Andrej Djuric headbutted Nahir Besara in an off-the-ball incident and was sent off late on, Bajen were able to close out a fourth win in a row, while MFF are seventh after only one win in four.

Djurgarden 2-1 Degerfors

Djurgarden ended a run of successive draws with a much-needed home win against relegation-threatened Degerfors to stay three points behind Hammarby, as the visitors remained in the play-off place, two points from guaranteed safety.

An early goal had the hosts ahead - Daniel Stensson's fourth-minute corner was flicked on at the near post by Piotr Johansson, who watched the ball clip the far post and bounce in. Blaranderna stayed in the ascendency for the rest of the half, and scored their second in the 39th minute, when Degerfors were unable to deal with a chip over the top from Bo Hegland, which Charlie Rosenqvist guided past the goalkeeper.

But with 15 minutes to play, the strugglers were right back in it with a smooth move to unlock the home defence was rounded off by Bilal Hussein slipping the ball through to Ludvig Fritzson, who poked it home off the base of the post. However, as Oskar Fallenius hit the crossbar in added time, Djurgarden held on for the victory, comdemning Degerfors to a fourth defeat in a row.

Hacken 1-0 Goteborg

Hacken remained three points further back in fourth with a narrow home win of their own in the Gothenburg derby, extending their unbeaten run to eight league matches, while Goteborg's run without defeat ended at nine matches, although they are now four without a victory.

The only goal arrived with just over 15 minutes played, when a teasing David Seger cross was diverted into his own net by the unfortunate Jonas Bager.

Wilson Lindberg forced a strong save and Julius Lindberg hit the crossbar before the break as Hacken stayed on top, then Adrian Svanback clipped the upright when through on goal soon after half-time and saw a lob bounce onto the roof of the net late on in a one-sided but low-scoring clash.

Elfsborg 2-1 Orgryte

Three points is also still the gap between Hacken and Elfsborg, after the Boras side put an end to three successive draws with a win over Orgryte, who remain a point behind Degerfors and three shy of Kalmar after back-to-back losses.

Early in the second half, a ball swept down the left wing was collected by William Hofvander, who played the ball infield for Tobias Sana, who managed to guide the ball home under pressure to give Orgryte the lead.

But it was a lead that only lasted until the 65th minute, as a pair of backheels just inside the area from Simon Hedlund and Simon Olsson carried the ball into the path of Julius Magnusson, who steered it into the net from 18 yards.

And Elfsborg snatched all three points in the 93rd minute, when Alexander Jensen's drilled cross from the right was diverted home by Leo Ostman to complete the turnaround and deny OIS a precious point.

Vasteras 1-0 Brommapojkarna

Vasteras kept their incredibly slim European hopes alive with their second win in a row. They sit sixth, eight points behind third place with only three games to go, but nonetheless a remarkable effort from a promoted side. Brommapojkarna sit 11th with their safety confirmed before this round.

The goal arrived 13 minutes from time - Axel Taonsa skipped away from challenges as he sauntered down the left side before squaring for Jens Magnusson, who swept the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards out.

That made it three wins from four for Vasteras, while BP are winless and scoreless in two.
