It was one of three awards he picked up on the night to go with Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season.
He has since moved on to Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, and the numbers behind his stunning campaign show just how much Pirates will miss him.

105 – Mofokeng scored the winner in the Carling Knockout final when he netted in the 105th minute against Marumo Gallants to give his side the trophy. It was his third cup-final goal, having also scored in previous MTN8 and Nedbank Cup deciders.
125 – Mofokeng now has 125 career appearances across all competitions, a high number for a player who is still only 21. He has scored 29 goals and provided 31 assists in that time for a total of 60 goal contributions, almost one every two games.
145 – Mofokeng recorded a goal contribution every 145 minutes in the 2025/26 season, compared with one every 154 minutes the campaign before. Looking at the league alone in 2025/26, Mofokeng registered a goal contribution every 118 minutes, almost one per game.
