Danish international, Jonas Wind, from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg will be ruled out for an extended period after suffering a new muscle injury during training, said Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking on a press conference Thursday.

"It doesn't look good for Jonas Wind. Jonas Wind is out for a long time as he has again suffered a muscle injury", said the coach at a press conference, according to Wolfsburg's X profile.

The Danish striker has been plagued by injuries, and it is not more than a month ago that he returned to full fitness after a longer injury period.

In November, the Danish striker had surgery on an injured thigh muscle, and now he is again affected by an injury.

According to the media Wolfsburger Allgemeine, it is the right thigh that is again the problem.

Jonas Wind scored his first goal in 330 days when he got on the scoreboard against Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend.

This season, Wind is listed for 11 appearances for crisis-hit Wolfsburg, who are in danger of relegation from the German Bundesliga.
