The Conference League provides a rare chance for those who wouldn't usually start for their team to impress, and that's just what the week's standout player did.

Based on Flashscore's internal player ratings system, this is the Team of the Round.

Goalkeeper

Filip Jorgensen (Chelsea) - 9.1

Having been resigned to substitute status since his arrival in the summer, Jorgensen made the most of the starting spot he was given in Thursday's match at Heidenheim.

The Dane made 11 saves to keep Chelsea's clean sheet intact and help secure a fourth win in four games. If the Blues go all the way in the Conference League, the former Villarreal man could make a major contribution.

Defence

Dodo (Fiorentina) - 8

The 26-year-old Brazilian right-back's strong season continued as he put in a fine European performance, in line with what he regularly does in Serie A. With a number of successful dribbles and duels, Dodo was dangerous and effective on the right flank.

Nenad Cvetkovic (Rapid Vienna) - 8.1

His team didn't win, but he did everything he could, with the 28-year-old Serbian centre-back opening the scoring after just nine minutes before being imperious in defence, winning the most duels of the match (10).

Konstantinos Laifis (APOEL Nicosia) - 8.8

Another decisive central defender, Laifis managed to give his side all three points with a goal before the interval. At the back, he kept Molde at bay.

Gary Magnee (Cercle Brugge) - 8.5

A marauding left-back in Austrian coach Miron Muslic's lineup, the Belgian was very lively, creating five chances for his side and scoring a 90th-minute goal.

Midfield

Daniel Stensson (Djurgardens) - 8.2

On paper, the Swedish team were favourites against TNS of Wales and Stensson was one of the architects of the 1-0 victory. The 27-year-old midfielder was very influential in attack with five key passes.

Rafal Augustyniak (Legia Warsaw) - 8.2

With four games played, four wins and not a single goal conceded, Legia are defying all the odds this season. On Thursday, the midfield was imperious and Augustyniak succeeded in everything he set out to do, including getting an assist for the second goal.

Ryoya Morishita (Legia Warsaw) - 8.2

As for one of his teammates, the Japanese midfielder put in a very clean performance with the opening goal after just 17 minutes getting his side on the right track.

Attack

Kaio Cesar (Vitoria Guimaraes) - 7.8

Guimaraes will have regrets after largely dominating Astana on Thursday but failing to win. They did snatch a point at the death though and nobody deserved that as much as 20-year-old Brazilian Kaio, who was a nuisance throughout the game.

Christian Kouame (Fiorentina) - 8.3

Opening the scoring after 38 minutes before causing problems for the opposition defence for the rest of the match, the Ivorian striker put in a complete performance.

Hicham Mahou (FC Lugano) - 8.3

Mahou has been playing for Lugano since 2022 and has found his place in Switzerland. The 25-year-old winger was decisive in Thursday's 2-0 win over Gent, being a great help to his team in both halves of the pitch with his dribbling and tackling.
