Brondby have signed the 25-old Senegalese winger Ousmane Sow from Polish Ekstraklase outfit Gornik Zabrze on a contract valid until the summer of 2030.

The French-Senegalese player primarily plays on the right wing, but can occupy several positions in the attack.

He began his career in smaller clubs in France and Belgium, before he had his definitive breakthrough in Poland in the fall with 19 matches and nine goals across all competitions.

Brondby Director of Football Benjamin Schmedes talks about the new man in shirt number 22:

"Ousmane has had an atypical and in many ways interesting path to the top, but of course, we have noticed what he has achieved in Poland over the past six months. He has an ability and desire to challenge his opponents, a great explosiveness, and not least a goal-scoring ability that we believe can be translated to the Danish Superliga."

Brondby Stadium and, not least the many thousands of fans who show up weekend after weekend, are one of the main reasons why Ousmane Sow has turned down offers from other leagues to become a Brondby player.

"I have seen videos with the fans, and it is clear that it is a club with many fantastic fans, which I am really looking forward to meeting", says Sow.

"For me, Brondby was the best choice, and for my development, this is a big and important step. It is a club with ambitions that match my own, and it is a club that has shown me great trust - not least by showing how much they want me. I will give everything I have to live up to that trust", he says.
