PSV midfielder Joey Veerman shared a critical comment aimed at Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman during PSV's title celebrations on Wednesday.

The PSV star hasn't been selected for a Netherlands squad since 2024, when Veerman featured at Euro 2024. The midfielder was infamously taken off after 35 minutes against Austria and played just 93 more minutes for Oranje after that group stage match.

After being continuously snubbed, Veerman shared a vicious comment after team-mates sang a song going "Joey in Oranje," taking aim at Ronald Koeman and the KNVB. "They can go figure it out," Veerman said before changing the subject.

Veerman, 27, has played his statistically best season for PSV, who claimed a 27th Eredivisie title last weekend. The Volendam native has scored 8 goals and provided a league-leading 14 assists in 27 Eredivisie appearances. Veerman is expected to leave PSV this summer after a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe broke down in the closing stages last December.
