Today is the final day of matchday two at the World Cup with Group K and Group L matches that see giants England, Portugal and Colombia all in action.

Today's matches:

Portugal 5-0 Uzbekistan - FT

Ghana 0-0 England - LIVE

Panama vs Croatia - 01:00 CET

Colombia vs Congo - 04:00 CET

Key updates:

23:33 CET - Okay then, the second hydration break is here, and there isn't much to note. It has been more of the same, with England looking tepid as they try to break down a strong Ghana defence.

23:08 CET - Right, the second half is now underway! Let's hope for a bit of entertainment!

22:51 CET - It is half time in Boston, and the game remains 0-0. England have been slow and lethargic, and just not been able to hurt a really resolute Ghana defence. Can they come out in the second half a lot sharper, just like against Croatia?

It is the first match at the World Cup not to have a single shot on target in the first half. Fun.

22:25 CET - We have arrived at the first hydration break, and the score is locked at 0-0. Ghana have set up very well defensively, as England keep probing and being patient in their attempts to find a way through. They are finding it difficult at the moment.

22:00 CET - We are underway in Boston as England and Ghana look to take control of Group L!

21:00 CET - Portugal have cruised past Uzbekistan 5-0 to claim a dominant World Cup win and silence their critics.

And the cherry on the cake for Roberto Martinez is that Cristiano Ronaldo has very much joined the party now!

20:57 CET - An emphatic finish by substitute Rafael Leao inside the box after a Nelson Semedo pullback has put Portugal 5-0 up.

Portugal are putting on a show here!

20:37 CET - With things starting to quiet down in this one, our focus can start to turn a bit to the England vs Ghana clash, and team news is in!

Thomas Tuchel has made two changes from the side that impressively dispatched Croatia in the last game, as Djed Spence and Marc Guehi come in for John Stones and Nico O'Reilly in defence.

20:24 CET - A scrappy goal but Portugal won't care as they extend their lead even further from a corner that bounced off a few players before keeper Abduvakhid Nematov got the final contact for what will go down as an own goal.

A really poor goal for Uzbekistan to concede and for all the Portugal magic, their opponents have been desperately poor.

4-0 and quite simply too easy.

19:53 CET - It is half-time between Portugal and Uzbekistan, and it is so far so good for Portugal and especially their main man, Cristiano Ronaldo.

19:40 CET - Ronaldo has done it again! A breathless counter by Portugal sees Bruno Fernandes pick a pinpoint through ball for Ronaldo, but the legendary forward still had plenty to do, and he found the bottom corner with the coolest of finishes.

Game over?

19:30 CET - Uzbekistan are back in it after a wonder goal from range by Azizjon Ganiev! Or are they?

Sadly for Uzbekistan, it is not a goal, and Ganiev is denied the moment of his career after a foul in the build-up.

19:18 CET - Nuno Mendes has doubled Portugal's lead after a Mendes x Ronaldo double act fooled everyone into believing Ronaldo was going to take the free-kick before Mendes runs up last second and finds the bottom corner brilliantly!

Should the keeper be doing better? Yes, but on the other hand, maybe Ronaldo's acting did put him off.

19:08 CET - Cristiano Ronaldo has just sat down a lot of people after a vintage Ronaldo poachers finish inside the box to fire Portugal ahead early on! And with that goal, Ronaldo becomes the first player in history to score in six different World Cups.

19:00 CET - Portugal vs Uzbekistan is go go go. This should be interesting...

18:35 CET - With kick-off fast approaching, we want to take a minute to direct you to our new ratings system.

There was a lot of talk about Cristiano Ronaldo's difficult opening game against D.R. Congo, and his struggles are highlighted in his 6.4 match rating after just 25 touches.

You can check out the new Flashscore player ratings system here.

17:45 CET - Team news is in for that game now and the big talking points from Roberto Martinez's selection is that Ruben Dias returns in defence in place of the injured Tomas Araujo and Joao Felix starts ahead of Bernardo Silva on the wing.

17:15 CET - With team news on its way shortly for the Portugal vs Uzbekistan clash, let's take a closer look at the biggest match of the day. Portugal are one of the pre-tournament favourites and have a squad full of quality, but after a shock draw against D.R. Congo in their opening game and a tricky final group clash against Colombia, victory against Uzbekistan this evening is absolutely vital for their tournament.

A win would quickly get things back on track, and given how easily Colombia defeated Uzbekistan in the first round of fixtures in Group K, Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal have a great chance to right the demons of their opening game and get their campaign going.
