Fulham are the latest club to show interest in Sergi Altimira, Lazio are pushing for Giacomo Raspadori with AS Roma fully in the race Atalanta are tracking Giovane as a possible Lazar Samardzic replacement. Here are some of the main stories over the last few days of the transfer market from TribalFootball's transfer expert, Rudy Galetti.

Fulham interested in Sergi Altimira

Fulham are the latest club to show interest in Sergi Altimira, as the Spanish midfielder continues to attract attention on the transfer market.

In recent days, preliminary contacts have taken place between the English club and Real Betis, with Fulham mainly asking for updated information about the player and his situation. At this stage, no formal offer has been made, just collecting details regarding the midfielder.

Altimira, whose contract runs until 2029, is considered one of the most interesting midfield profiles in La Liga thanks to his quality on the ball, tactical intelligence and consistency. His long-term contract gives his club a strong position in negotiations, and they are not under pressure to sell.

Fulham are not alone in the race. Eintracht Frankfurt remain very keen on Altimira and have been following him closely for some time.

The German club see him as a midfielder who could fit well into their dynamic style of play and add depth to their squad. The Spanish club have already set a clear price range, valuing Altimira at around €20-25 million.

At the same time, they are preparing for all scenarios and have started to look at possible replacements. Among the names on their list is Alex Tóth from Ferencváros. With several clubs involved, Altimira’s future could become one of the key midfield stories during this January market.

Sparta Prague push for Matyas Vojta

Sparta Prague have made decisive progress in the race to sign Matyas Vojta and are now in advanced talks with Mlada Boleslav. The Czech giants are working hard to close the deal as soon as possible, aiming to move ahead of strong domestic and international competition.

The transfer is not completed yet, as some details still need to be resolved, but Sparta are confident and pushing to finalise the agreement.

The 21-year-old striker is one of the most discussed young players in the Czech market this season. Vojta has impressed with his consistency and impact, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in the league.

His performances have made him a key player for Mlada Boleslav and earned him a regular place in the Czech Republic Under-21 national team. Interest in Vojta is not limited to Sparta Prague.

Viktoria Plzen are also closely monitoring his situation, while clubs from abroad have made inquiries as well. Udinese from Serie A and Besiktas from Turkey are following the striker with attention, considering a possible move already in January.

Mlada Boleslav have set the asking price at around €6 million, a figure that remains the base for negotiations. With the transfer window here and several clubs involved, the next few weeks could be crucial in deciding Matyas Vojta’s future.

Lazio pushing for Raspadori

Lazio are working hard to bring Giacomo Raspadori to Rome and have intensified contacts with Atlético Madrid in recent days. The Italian club see the forward as a key target to strengthen their attack and are discussing a possible swap deal involving Matteo Guendouzi plus cash in favour of Lazio.

The talks are still ongoing, but the Biancocelesti remain confident and active. Guendouzi’s name has been central in the discussions, as Atlético value the French midfielder highly: Lazio believe that this formula could help unlock the deal. In the background, Fenerbahçe have only made a simple inquiry for Guendouzi.

There have been no concrete negotiations with the Turkish club, also because the player is not convinced by a move to Turkey. Guendouzi would prefer a transfer to Spain, which makes Atlético Madrid a more attractive option for him.

However, Lazio are not alone in the race for Raspadori. AS Roma are also interested and have already reached an agreement in principle with Atlético Madrid.

The main issue for AS Roma is now convincing the Italian attacker, who is taking his time and carefully evaluating his future. With several clubs involved and important decisions ahead, the situation remains open. The coming weeks will be decisive for Raspadori’s next step.

Atalanta track Giovane

Atalanta continue to closely monitor Giovane, with the Brazilian midfielder emerging as a concrete option for the Bergamo club. The Hellas Verona player is being considered as a possible replacement for Lazar Samardzic, should the Serbian midfielder leave in January. Samardzic himself would be open to a move, as he is looking for more regular playing time.

Atalanta have already made initial contacts to ask for updated information on Giovane’s situation, while competition for the Brazilian is growing fast. His performances in Serie A have not gone unnoticed, attracting interest from several clubs both in Italy and across Europe.

This season, Giovane has played 17 league matches, scoring three goals and providing four assists. His numbers, combined with his creativity and energy in midfield, make him an attractive profile for teams looking to add quality and intensity.

Giovane is under contract with Verona until 2029, but his future appears increasingly open. Despite the long deal, the player is expected to leave Hellas Verona either in the current January window or, at the latest, during the summer.

Atalanta are keeping a close watch on the situation, ready to move if conditions become favourable. The next weeks could be decisive for Giovane’s future and for Atalanta’s midfield plans.

Fabio Silva attracts loan interest

Several European clubs are showing concrete interest in Fabio Silva ahead of the January transfer window. Besiktas, AS Roma and Real Betis have all requested updated information on the Portuguese striker, while other Spanish clubs are also monitoring his situation closely. The idea on the table is a loan deal until the end of the season.

Currently at Borussia Dortmund, Silva is looking for more playing time in the second half of the campaign. The 23-year-old forward has found space limited so far and is open to all possible options to continue his development. Dortmund are aware of the situation and would be willing to let the player leave on loan, as long as the proposal meets their conditions.

This season, Silva has played only 124 minutes in the Bundesliga and 129 minutes in the Champions League. Despite the limited minutes, he has managed to score one goal in Europe, showing flashes of his quality when given the chance.

With many clubs searching for attacking reinforcements, Fabio Silva’s profile is seen as an interesting opportunity. A loan move could give him the continuity he needs, while also helping his new club with fresh energy in attack. The coming weeks will be key to deciding his next step.
