Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has spoken to the media ahead of this week's clash with Leeds United.

Chelsea have won each of their four top-flight matches since Rosenior’s arrival, despite having failed to win any of their previous five Premier League matches beforehand under former manage Enzo Maresca.

The Blues are just one point away from the top four and four ahead of sixth-placed Liverpool as they seek to claim another three points to jump ahead of Manchester United

James and Palmer fit to start

Rosenior first spoke on team news and revealed that both Cole Palmer and Reece James will be fit for the clash.

On James: “Reece is fit. He is feeling unwell today. It's no conspiracy, it's the truth. Hopefully he'll be well enough for tomorrow.”

On Palmer: “He is available for tomorrow. Any world-class player is important in what we want to achieve. It was great to see him bang in the goals on Saturday and hopefully that form continues.”

Leeds will be a tough clash

Leeds are hoping to complete a league double in this fixture for the first time since their 1991/92 after beating Chelsea back in December in what was a 3-1 win. Rosenior admits it will be another difficult game.

“You watch every game. It's very difficult for me because when I first watched that game, it was as a neutral, I didn't realise I'd be manager of Chelsea.

“Daniel (Farke) is an outstanding coach. Calvert-Lewin is in really good form. It's going to be a very difficult game again.”

On Leeds’ direct approach: “You saw it against Nottingham Forest, they were magnificent in that game. When I say direct, I mean it in a really positive way. We need to stand up to that and overcome that.”
