Palace’s unbeaten streak was brought to an end by Everton before the international break, thanks to a Jack Grealish strike before the break. They will now host Bournemouth at Selhurst Park in what should be an intense affair.
Glasner to be handed new contract?
Glasner first spoke on rumours of a new contract before the game against Bournemouth, and admitted talks have been held.
"I met Steve (Parish) on Sunday at an NFL game and we talked. I met him on Tuesday, we talked. I met him on Wednesday and we talked. He is here today and we talked - that is why I was a bit late! We talk almost every day.
"It is not that I need conditions or that I want something - Palace want to be successful and want to continue this pathway. We are always discussing how to have the best chance to continue.
"Working together and having a relationship together makes sense if you have the same goals and vision, otherwise you can't be successful.
"If we can find the same pathway and same goal for Crystal Palace, we will enter talks. If we can't find it, we will also enter talks."
Mateta vs Zaha situation
He was next asked about striker Jean-Phlippe Mateta, who claimed that former Palace star Wilfred Zaha joked that he would ever play for the France national team.
"I don't know anything about it. I don't speak to my players about social media activities - this is a 24 hour job and we have more important things to talk about.
"I couldn't see any negative or positive influence when he came back from France."
Proud to be handed so many awards
Glasner was named Premier League Manager of the Month for September and Austrian Coach of the Year in what are two great honour that he says he is proud of.
"It’s a great honour. But today was the first time all the players were finally back from international duty.
"So, I say thank you to the players and to my staff – because they are the reason I received this award. We cannot achieve anything alone; we can only succeed together as a team. And again, it's the players who have to perform that well.
"They have to win all the games. They have to win trophies. Otherwise, it's impossible.
"So yes, of course it’s a big honour for me. But all the credit belongs to all of us. I told the players: This is not my award. It’s our award. That’s how I see it."
Injury news
Finally, he confirmed that the team has picked up no new injuries in what is a positive boost for the Eagles.
"It's all fine. All players are fit. All are available. We have no injuries at the moment, so fingers crossed that this stays.
"And just in long term, of course, Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure (are out), but all others are fit and available."
