How did some of our overseas favourites fare across the weekend?

Starting Socceroos goalkeeper Mat Ryan headlines the success of the overseas Australian contingent once again after he saved a penalty in Lens' 1-0 win over relegation contenders Saint-Étienne to keep their faint hopes of qualifying for European football alive.

Ryan recorded a 7.5 rating out of ten for his three saves, whilst it was his fourth clean sheet in his last six appearances for club or country.

Craig Goodwin enjoyed some personal success scored when he followed up his two assists against Indonesia with Al-Wehda's only goal in their 3-1 loss to Al Shabab, also registering a team-best Flashscore rating of 7.1.

Al Wehda continue to battle hard to avoid relegation and have eight games left to secure their survival.

Scottish Premiership veteran Martin Boyle drove Hibernian to a surprise 2-0 win away to Rangers despite starting the round 18 points behind the Glasgow giants.

It was Boyle's seventh career goal against Rangers, but most importantly the first to be scored at Ibrox, seeing him tick off a bucket list item for many footballers in Scotland.

Former Macarthur FC midfielder Jed Drew scored his first goal for new club Hartberg in the Austrian Bundesliga, finishing with a best on ground Flashscore rating of 8.0/10.

Hartberg are now well on their way to avoiding relegation after winning two of their last four games. Drew's side are also in the OFB Cup final to take place on the first weekend of May against Wolfsberger AC.

Gethin Jones hasn't played nearly as many minutes for Bolton Wanderers as he would have like, but he may have earned himself a few more substantial sub appearances after whipping in the cross that saw teammate Aaron Collins score the only goal of their 1-0 League One victory over Bristol Rovers.

It kept them in sixth place, with third to sixth of course progressing to the end of season promotion playoffs.

35-year-old defender Ryan McGowan enjoyed a 3-0 win for Livingston over Queen's Park in the second-tier Scottish Championship, even assisting the second goal of the match which was scored by new recruit Robbie Muirhead. Livingston appear set to enter their own play-offs for promotion back to the Premiership.
