Inzaghi has been announced as the new coach of Al Hilal and will reportedly become the highest-paid manager in the world on a salary of around 25 million euros per season.
His new club confirmed that he has put pen to paper on a two-year contract that will begin immediately, allowing him to take over for the Club World Cup, with his first competitive match in charge to be against Real Madrid on June 18.
He heads to Saudi Arabia with one Serie A title, two Coppa Italias, three Italian Super Cups and two Champions League runners-up medals to his name after a successful spell at Inter that ended in disappointment.
With mere weeks of the campaign left, his side led the fight for the Scudetto and were favourites for the Champions League in the eyes of many, with only PSG standing between them and the biggest prize in club football.
However, a domestic slip-up against Lazio allowed Napoli to beat them to the league title before the French champions blew them away 5-0 in Munich.
