Kenan Yildiz has become one of the most talked-about young footballers on the planet, and Juventus are still confident they will win the fight to keep him.

The 20-year-old Turkey international has enjoyed an impressive campaign in Serie A, becoming a regular starter and one of Juve’s most exciting attacking outlets.

Yet despite his rise, uncertainty continues to circle his future as contract talks in Turin are unresolved.

The parties have yet to find agreement on a new deal, and a host of teams are beginning to be linked.

His contract is due for an upgrade with current terms thought to be around €1.5 million per year, a figure now considered far below the market value for a player of his level.

It is understood that Yildiz is seeking a contract that reflects his rapid rise, and comparisons have been made to teammate Jonathan David, who earns roughly four times as much.

Juventus have so far struggled to make a satisfactory offer - but sources insist the situation is far from over.

The delay in contract progress is partly due to structural changes behind the scenes.

Luciano Spalletti has been appointed as the new head coach, and they are now appointing a new sporting director.

Once the club is more settled, Yildiz’s contract will become a priority, and they want him to stay on a deal to 2030.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal are among the Premier League clubs that have been monitoring developments.

But for now, they are having to wait in the background to see if the door opens.

Juventus are still hopeful that Yildiz will sign new terms. Sources close to the situation suggest he is happy in Turin and is prepared to stay, provided the club can meet his financial and sporting expectations.
