AGF - FC Copenhagen
After their hard-fought win in the "New Firm" derby against Brondby, FC Copenhagen were sent crashing back to reality when they lost 2-0 away against AGF on Sunday in the top clash of the Danish Superliga.
Mohamed Elyounoussi squandered a huge opportunity to put the visitors ahead in the second minute when he was put clean through against AGF goalkeeper Jesper Hansen. At the other end of the pitch, Patrik Mortensen then showed more coolness to open the score for the home side when Norwegian international playmaker Kristian Arnstad produced a superb delivery for the 31-year-old striker.
FC Copenhagen attempted to get back into the match and came closest when a goal was ruled out for a handball shortly before the interval. But in the second half, AGF clearly showed why they are top of the league when Rasmus Carstensen doubled the lead with a super header after Andreas Cornelius failed to clear a Gift Links corner.

FC Midtjylland - FC Nordsjaelland
While AGF preserved their position at the top of the table, FC Midtjylland hung on to second place in the Danish Superliga when they recorded their biggest win in the domestic league in 21 years, when they won 6-0 at home against FC Nordsjaelland.
FC Midtjylland have, per tradition, really struggled to get points against Jens Fonsskov Olsen's side when they have faced them in Farum. But at home, they had absolutely no problems on Sunday putting the game beyond reach already after 15 minutes when Ousmane Diao, Dario Osorio, and Aral Simsir had given the home side a comfortable 3-0 lead.
Mike Tullberg's men certainly didn't seem mentally affected by Thursday's defeat against AS Roma at the Olimpico as Franculino made it 4-0 just before the interval and got on the scoreboard again shortly into the second half before Valdemar Byskov put the icing on the cake on the hour mark.

Silkeborg and Randers, who are placed at the lower end of the table, cancelled each other out in a goalless draw while OB got revenge for their 4-0 defeat against Vejle earlier in the season when they got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win at home against Steffen Kielstrup's men following their goalless draw against Randers last weekend.
