After Aral Simsir had seen an effort denied by the woodwork at the end of the first half, Franculino who had replaced Adam Buksa at the break gave the home side the lead nine minutes after the restart with a clever finish in the box.

Around 15 minutes from the end Benjamin Nygren equalized for the visitors when he scored on a rebound after Elias Olafsson had saved an effort from Sindre Egeli. Viborg - Vejle

After their bright restart to the Danish Superliga following their change of coach and ownership, Vejle were brought back to the reality of propping up the standings when they were dealt a harsh blow to their hopes of escaping relegation through a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Viborg.

In the two previous matches Vejle had been able to solidify their defensive efforts but in Viborg they fell back into old patterns and were made to pay dearly for defensive mistakes as the home side cruised to a 3-0 lead within the first 45 minutes through goals from Renato Junior, Justin Lonwijk and Yonis Njoh.

Vejle cut the deficit seven minutes after the restart through a goal by German Onugkha, who also had a further chance towards the end of the match but Lucas Lund came up with a fine save.

AaB - FC Copenhagen

FC Copenhagen preserved their lead at the top of the Danish Superliga table but they will be disappointed that they only managed to come away with a goalless draw away against AaB.

The home side have conceded plenty of goals in the restart of the domestic league but FC Copenhagen struggled to create chances in a first half where the pace gradually deteriorated towards the end of the half.

Jacob Neestrups men were then very fortunate not to fall behind from the start of the second half when Mathias Jorgensen was put clean through with FC Copenhagen keeper Diant Ramaj but after rounding the keeper Jorgensen could only find the sidenetting with the goal at his mercy.

The visitors seized the intiative towards the end of the match and came close with an effort from Viktor Claesson in the dying seconds but it remained goalless in Aalborg.
