Poland international midfielder Bartosz Slisz will return to Europe after two years in the United States. Atlanta United have reached an agreement with Danish side Brondby, where he has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract until the summer of 2029.

The long-rumoured transfer from the MLS is now confirmed. Slisz will make the switch from Atlanta United to Brondby IF for a fee of around €3 million (with his current market value close to €3.9 million). He has signed a contract with the club until the end of June 2029.

Slisz spent the last two seasons in the USA, where he played 62 league matches and seven cup games. Brondby will be his second international club and Slisz admits he knows exactly where he is heading.

"I already know a lot about Brondby. For example, the club has faced Polish teams in European competitions in recent years. It's a fairly well-known club in Poland, and just a year ago they played against my former team, Legia," he told BIF's official website.

"I'm very happy about the move and I have clear ambitions - we should be competing for titles and playing in European tournaments. In Scandinavia, this is a big club with fantastic supporters, and that was one of the main reasons for my decision," said Slisz, who will join his new teammates on Sunday during their training camp in Spain.
