Holger Rune Rune wasn't the only Dane to book his ticket for a tennis final Saturday as Elmer Moller copied his achievement by reaching the final of the Challenger tournament in Oeiras in Portugal.

The 21-year old Moller, who is currently ranked 134 in the world, recorded one of the biggest wins of his career on Saturday, when he beat the Russian Roman Safiullin 6-2, 6-4 to secure his ticket for the final on Sunday.

Safiullin is currently ranked 73 in the world.

In Sunday's final Moller will face either Francisco Comesana (62) from Argentina or Carlos Taberner (145) from Spain. Should Moller win the final, he will move up to around 115 in the world rankings.

The Dane's progress also means that he will be seeded for the qualification for the Grand Slam tournament French Open, which starts at the end of May.
