Elmer Moller were taught a virtual tennis lesson when he crashed out of the second round of the ATP 250 tournament in Santiago to the Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo after losing 6-2, 6-2.

The world number 19, Francisco Cerundolo, on Thursday night proved to big a mouthful for Elmer Moller.

On the clay in Santiago, the Danish tennis player, who is ranked 127th in the world, was handed a true tennis lesson by Francisco Cerúndolo in the second round of the Chile Open.

The Argentine clay specialist, who is topseeded in Chile, won 6-2, 6-2.

Thus, Elmer Moller's campaign is finished in the ATP 250 tournament, after he beat Cerúndolo's compatriot Roman Andres Burruchaga in the first round to claim the biggest win of his career so far.

On Thursday, Elmer Moller won the first game of the match quite convincingly. But then Francisco Cerúndolo, who sat out the first round, settled into his stride and won the next five games, breaking Moller's serve twice without really being challenged.

The serve is still considered to be Elmer Moller's biggest weakness, but the 22-year-old Dane got back on track when he reduced the deficit to 2-5 before Cerundolo served home the set in just 29 minutes.

The Argentine dominance continued in the second set as Cerúndolo immediately broke Elmer's serve. Moller seemed more comfortable on the clay in the second set, but Cerúndolo kept a cool head and never conceded any break points. Cerundolo broke Moller's serve once more and cruised comfortably into the third round.
