Round three continues at Wimbledon as we reach the first Saturday of a tournament that has delivered its fair share of thrilling clashes so far. Eight-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic and world number one Jannik Sinner headline a busy day of tennis, which promises to deliver more drama.

23:14 CET - And then there were 16. 16 men and 16 woman remain in with a chance of becoming a Wimbledon champion this year, and that number will be reduced to 12 tomorrow.

Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka will be among those in action, and we'll be bringing you coverage of their matches and the rest. See you then!

21:02 CET - In the final match of the day, 10th seed Ben Shelton has claimed a 6-3, 7-6, 6-2 victory over Martin Fucsovics. With that, the third round is done!

20:55 CET - Novak Djokovic marches on! The seven-time champion has beaten Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 to set up a meeting with Alex De Minaur in the next round.

20:52 CET - Brandon Nakashima and Lorenzo Sonego have just played out an absolute epic, with the latter winning 6-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 7-6 after five hours and three minutes!

20:35 CET - 2017 finalist Marin Cilic continues to roll back the years, with him returning to the fourth round with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win over Jaume Munar. His best years may be behind him, but the Croatian veteran - who hit 49 winners tonight and 53 against Jack Draper - is a threat to anyone with how he's playing right now.

20:19 CET - Novak Djokovic is cruising, with the Serb leading compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-0.

19:18 CET - 11th seed Alex De Minaur has eased through, seeing off August Holmgren 6-4, 7-6, 6-3.

18:45 CET - The women's fourth-round lineup has been completed by Belinda Bencic, who has beaten Elisabetta Cocciaretto 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 in a three-hour battle.

On the men's side, Grigor Dimitrov has beaten Sebastian Ofner in straight sets to claim his 100th Grand Slam win.

18:32 CET - The reigning champion is out. Barbora Krejcikova, struggling with an injury, has lost 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 to tenth seed Emma Navarro. The Czech player was crying on court towards the end of the match.

On Centre Court meanwhile, Iga Swiatek has claimed an excellent 6-2, 6-3 win over Danielle Collins. The Pole is playing perhaps her best grass-court tennis ever.

17:57 CET - With seeded players crashing out like dominoes, Ekaterina Alexandrova has done well to keep her cool and get the job done against unseeded opponents.

The 30-year-old Russian now finds herself in the last 16 after a dominant 6-3, 7-6 (7-1) win against Turkey's Zeynep Sonmez.

16:41 CET - Jannik Sinner has moved into the next round with ease, cruising to a 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 win over Pedro Martinez in under two hours. The world number one is looking very good.

16:30 CET - Elena Rybakina is out! She's been beaten 7-6, 6-3 by Clara Tauson, meaning that half of the draw is now wide open.

16:00 CET - 15th seed Jakub Mensik, one of the sport's biggest talents, has been knocked out, losing 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 to world number 24 Flavio Cobolli in just under two hours.

15:37 CET - Coco Gauff's conqueror is out, with Dayana Yastremska losing 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 to world number 62 Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in something of a surprise result.

15:26 CET - World number seven Mirra Andreeva has secured a comfortable 6-1, 6-3 victory over Hailey Baptiste to move into the last 16.

Elena Rybakina, meanwhile, is in trouble, with the former champion failing to take two set points before losing the opener 7-6 to Clara Tauson.

15:21 CET - Liudmila Samsonova has become the first winner of the day, with the 19th seed beating 16th seed Daria Kasatkina 6-2, 6-3. That's an impressive victory.

15:16 CET - Jannik Sinner has absolutely flown through his first set against Pedro Martinez, winning it 6-1 in just 31 minutes.

14:00 CET - With the rain continuing to fall in London, the action on the outdoor courts won't be resuming for a while yet.

Thanks to the roofs on Centre Court and No.1 Court though, Jannik Sinner and Mirra Andreeva will both be getting underway in the next 30 minutes regardless.

12:55 CET - Some bad news to bring you as there is a delay to play on all outside courts at Wimbledon after the heavens opened a little while ago.

11:52 CET - First up on No.2 Court today is 2022 champion Elena Rybakina, who is facing 22nd seed Clara Tauson, a young Dane looking to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the second time in her career.

Rybakina has looked good thus far this tournament, and is arguably the favourite to reach the final from her side of the draw.

10:00 CET - As we move to within an hour of play getting underway, let's take a look at a match-up not to miss this Saturday morning.

Rising star Jakub Mensik is back on court 12 this morning for an intriguing clash against Italian youngster Flavio Cobolli, who is also starting to make a name for himself.

There is no obvious favourite, so don't be surprised if this clash between two stars of the future goes the full distance.
