Major League Baseball saw an unbelievable nine different batters have a multi-home run game during Monday night's action, with superstars Aaron Judge and Mike Trout leading the way in a back-and-forth duel.

The Yankees-Angels timeline of multi-homers that also included Trent Grisham headlined a wild night around the league.

Judge, 33, wasted no time putting the Yankees up 2-0 on Trout's Angels with a two-run bomb in the first inning to kickstart what would be a duel between future Hall of Famers.

After the Angels went down 7-4 thanks to Grisham's first home run on the night in the bottom of the fifth, Trout, 34, would prove to be clutch after he drilled his first of two home runs on the night to tie it up 7-7 in the top of the sixth.

In order, Judge would respond in the bottom of the sixth inning with a solo shot that put the Yankees up 8-7.

It would mark Judge's sixth homer of the year and the first multi-home run game of his season.

Trout would respond in kind with a two-run home run to put the Angels up 10-8 in the top eighth inning. The homer would mark Trout's 31st multi-home run game of his career and also his first of the season.

After hitting one home run in each of the first two games of the season, Trout had gone homerless in the next 13 games before Monday night.

Then, in the top of the ninth that led to a Yankees 11-10 walk-off win with a wild pitch, Grisham tied it up 10-10 with his second home run of the night.

Both of the home runs were Grisham's first of the season.

Orioles, Diamondbacks pop off

Over in Baltimore was another multi-home run duel. Ketel Marte and Nolan Arenado put the Arizona Diamondbacks out to a commanding 7-1 lead with a pair of home runs each in the early going of the game.

But Baltimore would rally with eight unanswered runs after Jeremiah Jackson hit a grand slam to make it 7-6, then another solo shot afterwards to make it a final 9-6 score at the end.

Jackson has now hit three home runs in the past three games, which could've been four but one hit off the wall during Saturday's win over the San Francisco Giants

Kyle Schwarber goes yard twice

Elsewhere, the National League's reigning home run king, Kyle Schwarber, launched a pair of homers during Monday night, with the first coming on one knee, to bring his season total up to six as the Phillies won 13-7 over the Chicago Cubs.

Schwarber led the NL with 56 home runs last season and led the entire league with 132 RBI.

Josh Naylor's first two home runs of 2026

In Seattle, Josh Naylor would hit his first two home runs of the season, which scored five of the six runs needed for the Mariners to beat the Houston Astros 6-2.

It's Naylor's first multi-home run game since September 18, 2024, when he stamped a pair against the Minnesota Twins.

Jake Burger goes yard in first two at-bats

Texas Rangers first baseman Jake Burger became the ninth and final player on April 13th to have a multi-home run game.

His first came during the first inning off Athletics starting pitcher Luis Severino.

Burger's second of the night came during his second at-bat of the game in the top of the third inning, off Severino once more.

It's Burger's first multi-home run game of the season and his first since September 10th of last season, which came against the Milwaukee Brewers
