As always, our XI was selected based on Flashscore's in-house player rating system. The highest rating of the round went to Celtic centre-back Auston Trusty, who managed to score in Bologna while his team were down to 10 men.

Goalkeeper
Marco Bizot (Aston Villa) 8.7
Aston Villa coach Unai Emery mostly only uses Marco Bizot in cup competitions, but he always shines in Europe.
Out of four Europa League appearances this season, he’s been named man of the match three times, kept three clean sheets, and in Villa's win over Fenerbahce on Thursday, he made eight saves.
Defenders
Denzel De Roeve (Brann) 8.5
In a brilliant six-goal thriller against Midtjylland (which ended 3-3), Denzel De Roeve was by far the most involved player for Brann.
Early on, with one of his 90 touches, the young Belgian delivered a perfectly taken corner for Brann’s opening goal.

Auston Trusty (Celtic) 9.6
Nearly two-meter-tall American Auston Trusty dominated the aerial battles in Celtic's draw with Bologna, winning six out of seven headers and scoring from a corner.
What's more, he cleared the ball 17 times in notching a hefty rating of 9.6, the best of the round.
Martin Erlic (Midtjylland) 9.1
Not usually a frequent scorer, Croatian centre-back Martin Erlic found the net twice for Midtjylland against Brann.
Both times, he was perfectly positioned in the six-yard box after a corner, finishing from close range.
Frans Kratzig (Salzburg) 8.8
German full-back Frans Kratzig is fighting for a starting spot at Salzburg, and his performance against Basel was a big step forward.
He scored his first goal of the season in the 35th minute to put his side 3-0 up before half-time.
Midfielders
Philip Billing (Midtjylland) 9.0
Philip Billing excelled in the defensive-midfield role for Midtjylland, winning seven out of nine duels and breaking up five opposition attacks.
On top of that, he assisted the opening goal on his way to an impressive rating of 9.0.
Niccolo Pisilli (AS Roma) 8.7
Twice the Stuttgart defenders failed to track Niccolo Pisilli's runs, and twice he punished them with powerful shots into the top of the net.
Remarkably, those were his only two touches inside the box in Roma's win on Thursday.

Tiago Gouveia (Nice) 8.5
Another man who bagged a brace in this round was Nice's Tiago Gouveia.
For the Portuguese midfielder, on loan from Benfica, those were his first goals of the season, and for Nice, the win over Go Ahead Eagles presented their first points in the competition.
Forwards
Anis Hadj Moussa (Feyenoord) 8.4
Despite their comfortable win over Sturm Graz, Feyenoord’s hopes of advancing in the Europa League are slim.
Algerian winger Anis Hadj Moussa, however, did his bit to keep them alive with a goal and an assist.
Dion Beljo (Dinamo Zagreb) 8.4
Dion Beljo took four shots, hit the target three times, and scored twice in Dinamo's 4-1 win over FCSB.
The young striker showed why Dinamo paid Augsburg five million euros for him in a record transfer to the Croatian league last summer.
Kerim Alajbegovic (Salzburg) 8.5
Kerim Alajbegovic's two goals sank Basel and kept Salzburg’s playoff hopes alive.
Of his 26 passes in the attacking third, 22 were accurate, and the opposition had to foul him three times in the game.
