Goalkeeper

David de Gea (Fiorentina) 8.7

Fiorentina moved five points clear of the Serie A relegation zone on Saturday after a hard-fought 1-0 away win at fellow strugglers Verona.

The visitors were indebted to the performance of De Gea between the sticks, as the former Manchester United keeper made eight important saves to preserve his side's clean sheet.

Defence

Eduardo Quaresma (Sporting CP) 9.1

Quaresma was crucial at both ends of the pitch for Sporting, with the title-challenging Lions coming from behind to see off Santa Clara in an entertaining contest.

Not only did the Portuguese centre-back win six aerial duels and make three clearances, but he also provided the pass for Rafael Nel's goal in second-half stoppage time.

Osaze Urhoghide (FC Dallas) 9.2

Urhoghide also played a key role at both ends as the commanding centre-back helped FC Dallas to a dominant 4-0 victory at DC United in the early hours of Monday morning.

His side were already 2-0 up and in control when he added a third goal after rising highest in the box and dispatching a bullet header past the helpless Sean Johnson. Urhoghide was also a rock at the back all game, winning seven aerial duels and three interceptions.

Alejandro Grimaldo (Leverkusen) 9.1

Grimaldo has built a reputation for being a goal-scoring full-back for some time, and he bagged his seventh and eighth Bundesliga goals of the season in another imperious attacking display at the weekend. His side were involved in an epic nine-goal thriller as Bayer Leverkusen beat Wolfsburg 6-3 in the game of the weekend in the Bundesliga.

Grimaldo played a vital role in inspiring Leverkusen's comeback as he equalised from the penalty spot to make it 1-1 in the 30th minute before scoring a vital goal just before the break. Wolfsburg were 3-1 up and in control, but Grimaldo's strike to make it 3-2 would give Leverkusen the belief they needed to turn the match on its head in the second period.

Midfield

Sadio Mane (Al Nassr) 9.6

Saudi Pro League frontrunners Al Nassr moved a step closer to the title over the weekend after a thrilling 5-2 victory against rock-bottom Al Najma

Mane was typically influential for Jorge Jesus’ side, with the Senegalese star finding the net twice, as well as winning nine duels throughout the contest.

Ramiz Zerrouki (Twente) 9.2

Zerrouki was FC Twente's star man as his side pulled off a massive win in Amsterdam against Ajax to leapfrog the Dutch giants in the Eredivisie and keep their Champions League dream alive.

The midfielder opened the scoring in the 18th minute to silence the home side, and aside from the goal, was a constant creative threat, making 16 passes into the final third and one key pass.

Ismael Saibari (PSV) 9.8

PSV's 4-3 triumph at home to Utrecht, coupled with Feyenoord's 0-0 draw against FC Volendam, saw Peter Bosz's men claim a third successive Eredivisie title, and their 27th overall.

Saibari starred for the Dutch giants with a well-taken brace, while the Moroccan also created a further two big chances and completed 77% of his passes in the final third.

Denis Bouanga (Los Angeles FC) 9.6

An inspired eight-minute period in the first half saw Bouanga sensationally score three goals to complete a rapid hat-trick as Los Angeles demolished Orlando City 6-0. All three of Bouanga's strikes were set up by a certain Son Hueng-Min.

Bouanga was a constant threat down the left wing, and when the chances came, the Gabon forward was ruthless in taking his chances - three shots on target and three goals being proof of his clinical performance.

Attack

Son Heung-min (Los Angeles FC) 9.3

The second LAFC player to make our team is South Korean legend Son, who registered four assists in a rampant first-half display against Orlando City in the MLS.

The former Tottenham star was the provider for all three of Bouanga's goals, while he also came out on top in four ground duels and completed all three of his dribbles.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City) 9.2

It has been a while, but Haaland might finally be back to his best. The usually prolific striker has had an uncharacteristic dry spell in front of goal in 2026, but a brilliant brace to help Manchester City thrash rivals Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals was a timely return to his best.

Haaland's first goal was from the penalty spot as he sent Giorgi Mamardashvili the wrong way, but it was his second that will get City fans excited. A teasing cross from the ever-dangerous Antoine Semenyo early in the second half was expertly dispatched by the striker, who guided a header into the top corner. Unstoppable and inevitable.

Estevao (Chelsea) 9.1

Estevao reminded everyone what Chelsea have been missing in his absence with a classy performance as Chelsea hammered Port Vale 7-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The tricky and direct winger was at the heart of everything that was good about Chelsea's performance and he reaped his rewards in the second half, first setting up fellow Brazilian Andrey Santos for Chelsea's fifth before adding a goal of his own in the 82nd minute to make it six.
