Goalkeeper

Moritz Nicolas (Borussia Monchengladbach) 9.4

Moritz Nicolas had an astonishing game in goal for Borussia Monchengladbach, as they somehow managed to hang on for a 0-0 draw at Hamburg despite their opponents having 25 shots.

The German made a whopping 12 saves, keeping a clean sheet despite facing an xGOT of 1.25, while also completing a game-high number of long passes (5).

Defence

Omer Ali Sahiner (Istanbul Basaksehir) 8.4

Istanbul Basaksehir snatched a late 2-1 win over Karagumruk in the Turkish Super Lig, and they had Omer Sahiner to thank, with the right back producing a powerful offensive display.

The Turk scored the winner in the 87th minute after showing remarkable composure, and also created a game-high number of big chances (2) to go with his 12 accurate passes in the final third.

Hassan Tambakti (Al Hilal) 8.7

Al Hilal have firmly taken control of the Saudi Pro League title race in the last few weeks. On the weekend, they won 2-1 at Neom SC, with defender Hassan Tambakti playing a massive role.

Tambakti got on the scoresheet with a thumping finish in the second half, while also winning three tackles and five ground duels during the match.

Tosin Adarabioyo (Chelsea) 8.4

Despite coming off the pitch after 58 minutes due to a slight hamstring problem, Tosin Adarabioyo was rock solid at the back for Chelsea, helping them to a clean sheet and a 2-0 win against Brentford.

Tosin won all four of his aerial duels, while also having a game-high number of clearances (13) and interceptions (2), playing a massive part in Liam Rosenior's first Premier League victory.

Midfield

Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) 10

Michael Olise seems to make this XI every other week. The mercurial Frenchman has been one of the best players in the world this season, and orchestrated Bayern Munich's 5-1 win at Leipzig on the weekend.

What makes it even more incredible is that he didn't even start! Olise won the game off the bench, playing a part in every goal when the score was locked at 1-1.

The 24-year-old provided three fantastic assists, displaying his technique and stellar crossing ability. He also got on the scoresheet with a supremely cool finish - a true superstar.

Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) 9.0

Barcelona's 11-match winning streak came to an end, losing 2-1 to Real Sociedad on Sunday night despite missing several big chances and racking up an xG of 3.68. The creator in chief was Lamine Yamal, who did all he could to snatch a result for his side.

Lamine provided the cross for Marcus Rashford's goal and was a constant menace to the Sociedad defenders. The Spaniard had a game-high number of touches in the opposition box (16), completed the most dribbles (11), and created the most big chances (3).

Perhaps surprisingly, no player completed more ground duels (15) than Lamine either.

Ruben Neves (Al Hilal) 9.1

Ruben Neves ran the show for Al Hilal during their victory and was at the heart of everything good for the Saudi outfit.

Neves set up Al Hilal's equaliser with a fine delivery from a corner, before netting the winner from the penalty spot midway through the second half. He also had the most touches on the pitch (86) while completing a game-high number of passes (52).

Younes Namli (Zwolle) 9.2

In the Eredivisie, Zwolle clinched a 3-1 win over AZ Alkmaar, with Younes Namli providing two assists. The first was an utterly outstanding pass, while the second came from a corner-kick delivery.

The Dane was in the thick of the action all game, having a game-high number of touches (76), successful dribbles (7), and shots from outside the box (3).

Joao Carvalho (Estoril) 9.8

On Monday evening, Joao Carvalho had a stellar performance as Estoril thrashed 10-man Estrela 5-0 in Portugal. The winger opened the scoring with an incredible finish before providing two assists for his teammates.

His crossing was spot on all night, having a game-high number of crosses (3) while also completing 11 accurate passes in the final third.

Forwards

Roger Martinez (Al Taawon) 9.8

Al Taawon are flying high in the Saudi Pro League, sitting third in the table after 15 games. On the weekend, they claimed their 11th win of the season, as striker Roger Martinez scored a hat-trick to help his team to a 3-1 win over Al Riyadh.

The Colombian showed his composure in front of goal, producing two fine finishes to go alongside a spot-kick, taking his tally for the season to 12.

Ragnar Ache (FC Koln) 9.2

With FC Koln 1-0 down at half-time against Mainz, Ragnar Ache was brought on to make an impact and turn things around. And the German did just that, scoring a second-half brace as they went on to win the game 2-1.

First, Ache headed home to bring the score level before bundling in a scrappy goal at the back post, which proved to be the winner. In just 45 minutes, he had more touches than anyone in the opposition box (10), while also winning a game-high number of aerial duals (9) - a proper super-sub performance.
