Henry took to social media after the interview, making a distinction between looking to retire a Raven and strongly mulling retirement.
“I would like to finish my playing career with the Ravens,” Henry wrote. “Never said anything about retiring lol I’m enjoying being a Raven. I’ll worry about that retirement sh - later.”
The 32-year-old deleted the post, but he made his point. His desire is to not make another move in his NFL career, but he is not indicating that the 2026 season will be hist last.
This should be considered as good news for the Ravens, who are looking to build their offense around both Henry and Lamar Jackson, who is a two-time NFL MVP.
For the former Tennessee Titan, his concentration is on the upcoming season.
