22:41 CET - Joao Neves with the winner? In stoppage time, the diminutive midfielder rises highest to head in a corner and give PSG a 3-2 lead over Lyon as the time ticks away. A huge goal for the Ligue 1 champions.

22:38 CET - Hat-trick for Robert Lewandowski! Barcelona have finally got a two-goal cushion against Celta Vigo thanks to their Polish striker in what has been an attritional game on the northern coast of Spain.

They are now 4-2 up with 15 minutes to play.

22:07 CET - Inter have doubled their lead at home to Lazio, thanks to a fourth league goal of the season from French striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.

21:56 CET - All square again in the last Ligue 1 clash of the weekend. A long ball forward finds Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and he lobs Lucas Chevalier with a deft touch to make it 2-2 between Lyon and PSG. It's rocking in south-east France.

21:52 CET - Vigo has historically been a tough place to go for Barcelona, and it's proving it again with the hosts drawing level for the second time tonight - this time through Borja Iglesias. But, just before the break, Lamine Yamal is back amongst the goals to make it 3-2 in what is turning out to be a barnstormer of a contest.

21:13 CET - Over to LaLiga, where, despite a Robert Lewandowski goal from the spot, Celta Vigo have hit back straight away against Barcelona through Sergio Carreira. A roaring start to the occasion.

21:10 CET - Back to the Bundesliga, where after a dire first half, Eintracht Frankfurt have improved against Mainz and now have the lead nine minutes from time through Ritsu Doan.

Meanwhile, PSG are ahead against Lyon! Midway through the first half, Warren Zaire-Emery has netted for the visitors in the 26th minute.

20:54 CET - Over in Serie A, Inter have the lead against Lazio in the early going, thanks to a goal from their talisman, Lautaro Martinez.

20:24 CET - All over in LaLiga's two evening games, where Real Betis and Valencia have shared the points in a 1-1 draw, where both goals came late in the day. Elsewhere, Mallorca have earned their third win of the season, seeing off Getafe 1-0 thanks to an early goal from Vedat Muriqi.

One more game to go and sees Barcelona travel to Celta Vigo in search of a result that could see them close the gap to Real Madrid to three points.

20:12 CET - Valencia hit back! Just eight minutes after falling behind, it's 1-1 against Betis, with Luis Rioja getting the equaliser.

20:05 CET - A big goal for Real Betis - they have taken a 74th-minute lead over Valencia with striker Cucho Hernandez getting his first goal in a month to break the deadlock.

19:58 CET - It seems everyone is a title contender in Serie A this season! Roma go one point from the top of the tree thanks to a 2-0 win over Udinese in the Italian capital.

19:52 CET - There's one match left in Ligue 1 tonight, and it's a biggie, with third facing sixth as PSG travel to Lyon. A win for the hosts would see them move within two points of top spot, while the reigning champions can go top themselves with a victory.

19:35 CET - Over in Germany, Stuttgart have moved up to fourth with a 3-2 win at home to Augsburg, and are now just a point off second.

19:28 CET - Man City claim a huge win! In the 100th game of his managerial career, Pep Guardiola saw his side produce one of their best performances of the season to beat Liverpool 3-0 and return to second in the Premier League.

If anyone can stop Arsenal this season, it's Haaland and co.

19:12 CET - A big game at the top of Ligue 1 has been won by Strasbourg, who have beaten Lille 2-0 courtesy of a brace from Chelsea-bound striker Emanuel Emegha to leapfrog their opponents and move up to fourth.

18:57 CET -It's three for City! Jeremy Doku has been on fire all match, and he's now topped off his performance with a stunning goal, cutting inside onto his right foot and curling the ball into the far corner.

Liverpool were just getting back into the match, but with around 30 minutes to go, that is surely game over.

18:51 CET - Roma have the chance to head into the international break top of Serie A, and they're taking that chance as it stands, with a penalty from Lorenzo Pellegrini sending them into the break 1-0 up against Udinese.

18:20 CET - The hosts have doubled their lead at the Etihad, with an effort from Nico deflecting off Virgil van Dijk and in.

Liverpool will feel hard done by given that Van Dijk had a header controversially ruled out at the other end just a few minutes earlier, with a VAR check determining that Andy Robertson blocked Gianluigi Donnarumma's view from an offside position.

Nevertheless, City very much deserve the 2-0 lead they'll take into the break.

18:14 CET - It's been a day to forget for Real Madrid, with the LaLiga leaders being held to a 0-0 draw by Rayo Vallecano. That's the first time in the league this season that Los Blancos have failed to find the back of the net.

18:01 CET -Manchester City take the lead! And there's no prizes for guessing who's scored their opener, with Haaland making up for his miss by heading them in front.

The hosts deserve that, having dominated the opening stages. Liverpool need to step things up.

17:43 CET - Erling Haaland misses a penalty! The Norwegian had the chance to give Man City the lead after Jeremy Doku was taken down by Giorgi Mamardashvili, but the goalkeeper then made amends by saving the spot-kick!

14:10 CET - The Sean Dyche era at Nottingham Forest started well, but since a win in the first game, he has drawn two and lost the other. Leeds offer Forest some respite, as they have just one win in their last five.

14:05 CET - Newcastle United make the trip down to the capital this afternoon as they take on Brentford from 15:00 CET. A midweek Champions League win over Athletic Club eased the pressure on Eddie Howe, but he will want more results in the Premier League if they are to start advancing up the table.

The Bees sit one place above them going into the game, and both are in inconsistent form with more losses than wins so far.

14:01 CET - It's turning into quite the afternoon for Domenico Berardi. He has added his second goal of the game for Sassuolo against Atalanta to go along with his assist for the other, as his side now lead 3-0 with 20 minutes to go.

14:00 CET - Another couple of Premier League teams who have been looking up the table rather than down this year are Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

In a congested table, Villa are the same points from second place than they are from the relegation zone. Last time out, their four-game winning run was halted by Liverpool, whilst Bournemouth were defeated by Manchester City.

17:28 CET - All over in the German capital, where Bayern's perfect start to the season is over, but they remain unbeaten as Harry Kane's header sees them escape with a 2-2 draw against Union Berlin.

It gave the chasing pack an opportunity to catch up, but RB Leipzig were unable to take it, losing 3-1 to Hoffenheim. Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund also dropped points as a late goal from Ransford Konigsdorffer earned Hamburg a 1-1 draw.

The only team able to capitalise, then, was Bayer Leverkusen. Dortmund saw off Hamburg in a tight affair 1-0 with Carney Chukuwumeka the hero this afternoon. It was far more comfortable for Leverkusen, who hammered Heidenheim 6-0 as both Patrik Schick and Ibrahim Maza scored braces.
