Tampa Bay Rays star Junior Caminero became the youngest player since 1900 to hit a home run in six straight games after launching No. 6 on Wednesday.

Caminero, 22, sent one to deep left field off the first pitch he saw from Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Seth Lugo in the top of the first inning.

In just his last eight games alone, Caminero has nine homers and 20 RBI as his season totals increased to 24-54 with a .295 /.385/.564 slashline.

The Dominican star is coming off a breakout season with the Rays after he smacked 45 home runs and 110 RBI. Caminero was also a vocal star for the Dominican Republic during the World Baseball Classic earlier this year, belting three home runs with seven RBI while batting .350.

The 2025 All-Star currently leads Kazuma Okamoto (Toronto Blue Jays) in Phase 2 voting for the American League All-Stars (66%-34%) and has been confirmed to be a participant in this year's Home Run Derby.
